I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details

USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

I just want to share what I got from a good website of immigration lawyers.....
The U.S. Department of State (DOS) issued the August 2007 Visa Bulletin late this afternoon (July 17, 2007), showing "unavailability" in all the employment-based (EB) categories. The DOS also confirmed that it is withdrawing the July 2, 2007 revised Visa Bulletin, so that the original July 2007 Visa Bulletin remains in effect, showing availability for all EB applicants to file the I-485s in July, except for the narrow category of "other workers." The original July Visa Bulletin of June 12, 2007, however, would have given only until July 31, 2007 to file I-485 cases with the USCIS.
we still have the chance to get a visa.
You can contact the US Embassy in London to know the date of your appointment, hope it's July 2007!!! Good Luck and God Bless!!!
takes a few weeks to get across to the UK and appointments are given usually 2-3 weeks so won't be in July. Really pleased for her and hope she hears so. Some people are not even able to get medicals done until after their interview more delays. Just shows how different embassies do their appointments (we are told to allow 8 weeks for the file to get to the UK and interviews appointed)
haaaaaay...so all the visa were given to AOS? really bad for those on CP. So unfair if you ask me.:o:o:o:o:o:o
Was just thinking...if we were asked updated DS230, aren't we supposed to be continuously processed since those forms officially expire this month? What's the use of asking for new ones from us at this timre(considering we submitted already last year) if a new set will again be asked from us when visas "become available" goodness knows when!
Just releived at the moment that my case has been forwarded to the embassy even if no interview dates left at least it will be there when the new fiscal yr comes in Oct.
Every step we get further we celebrates, we all know the saying good things come to those who wait! roll on the good things.
Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone
hi guys! my case was already completed yesterday - July 18, 2007!! :) It says to wait for 8 weeks for further instructions. NVC received my updated DS230 last July 6, 2007. I hope and pray that there will be visa numbers reserved for us..I'm keeping my fingers crossed...well, all we have to do now is wait, wait and pray hard!...:)

Hi guys! received this email from NVC. Does this mean my case was already completed? If so, how do I know the date it was completed?
Dear Madam,
Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).
All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's
processing has been received. As soon as an interview date has been
scheduled, the designated representative of this case (applicant,
petitioner, or attorney) will be notified. The US Embassy or Consulate
General may require additional documentation at the time of the
interview.
Regards,
National Visa Center
