NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Visa received : ???

Date of entry in the US :???

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

Great news, still going to take a few weeks to get an interview but atleast things are moving forward for you. No change to my message, still waiting for documents from lawyer :balloons:

Great news for you! Congrats!...I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get that interview. keep us posted!

Still hoping as my PD is may 2005 and my case was completed at NVC 12th july 2007 that a visa has already been put aside for me. The msg at the NVC still says wait 6-8 weeks for further instruction so my case is still going on. This has been a long haul i really do feel i am on a roller coaster ride 1 say i am up next day plunging down again.

Congrats!! Hope you get your visa soon. As for us...here goes the long wait again... oh well. nothing to do but wait and wait and wait...

the fate of those on consular processing is soo vague compared to those on AOS. Maybe I should have gone to the states as a tourist and took a job there and adjusted my status..instead of doing it thru consular processsing. :o

You can contact the US Embassy in London to know the date of your appointment, hope it's July 2007!!! Good Luck and God Bless!!!;)

With the July VB reinstated and the AUg VB being U. What does this mean for us CP? for those who were asked updated ds230? Does this mean if we don't get an interview til July 31 we won't get any in Aug/Sept?.... I'm getting depressed:bluecry1:

hi guys..sad news for us. got this from Hammondlawgroup.blogspot.com:

I am overseas. How will this impact my Consular Processed case?

Virtually no impact. Visa appointments for July will continue. Anyone with a July Visa appointment should present to their consulate as instructed. All documents must be taken -- employment letters, Visa Screen, etc. If any documents are missing, the Consulate may delay your appointment. If the Green Card is not issued by 7/31, then the cases will likely be ineligible for a green card, perhaps by months or even years. All other people awaiting Consular cases -- such as people at the Packet III stage -- will have their cases put back into retrogression, effective 8/1.

Hi Leis23. Have read it too.... And I see others who were given interview dates on Aug been canceled.... I feel its so unfair for those undergoing CP. It's like tiny little step forward and a big leap backward! Can't sleep. I spend most of my hours in the net praying for a miracle!
