NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Visa received : ???

Date of entry in the US :???

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

Dear All,

Received a message from NVC that a number (MSTXXXXXXXX02)is alloted for me and the fee bill was generated on July 02, 2007 and forwarded to my agent. My PD is Sept. 29, 2006. Does this mean that a visa number is reserved for me? It is evident that NVC is still processing files. How long normally it takes to complete the NVC process ( from visa fee bill to Consulate).

Thanks

Alina Mathew

Hi Alina! Can I ask if the message stated that there is visa already alloted for you?... from my understanding, a visa is only assigned to you when your case is "documentarily qualified". Have you actually forwarded your ds230 to the NVC?

Dear Fruity,

No, My I-140 was approved on Feb. 09, 2007 and the NVC generated the fee bill on July 02, 2007. Now my agent has to pay the fees and then only NVC issue packet 3.

I guess you have to wait for the your case to be completed. there are quite a few numbers already in the waiting line with a PD so much earlier than you. Good Luck.

and once your docs reach NVC they have to be checked and approved. It is just a case of join the queue and wait along with everyone else

but i already send last year my documents like Ds 230,passport photos,NBI clearance, original birth certificate, and photocopy of my passport..did i miss something else?

Hi Sweet Nurse, my friend received the same reply after she submitted her DS230 last June 2007 "missing document or incomplete form" but when her agency received the letter from the NVC,she was surprised because the missing document or incomplete form they are saying is that she failed to write in her DS230 form her where abouts from year 2001-2003:o

Hello fellow nurses..I am new here and I have been following up this thread since it started and I would to thank everyone for the informations..I'm learning a lot from this forum.

My PD is Feb 06 approved I 140 last June 5 06 submitted my DS230 last June 27,o6 and got caught with the retro. Re submitted another DS230 and updated documents last June 27 to my lawyer.Yesterday NVC answered my email and this is what they answered

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC has received documentation for this case. As soon as this file

has been reviewed, notification will be sent.

All correspondence concerning your petition has been sent to you in

care of your attorney of record. What does this mean? Is there a visa allotted for me? Can I expect progress on my

case and have an interview this year?

thanks

u may get a chance, VB is out and all categories are current now so they may act upon your case. you may get an interview this year... hopefully.

hi suzanne...just read from Aug visa bulletin that EB3 will be unavailable. So what will happen to my case? NVC told me that my case has been completed last July 13 '07 and that I will wait for 8 weeks then will be notified again (my PD is JAN '05). I am asking this because want to be sure if WE (my family),could get an interview hopefully before the year ends otherwise I will be accepting a job abroad. Should I accept it or wait instead for my packet 4? I was given a week to decide. Please clear me on this matter. Thank you.

Pretty Neirelle your situation is really difficult. Based on your PD, you are well ahead of the line. You still have the possibility that a visa number has been reserved for you but of course you will only know about that one has been reserved once you receive the packet 4. I have this co- worker whose PD is December 2005 and an interview has been set for next week.

I pray that yours is on it's way now. Perhaps you could ask for more time for you to decide about the job abroad. You will never know.

:bluecry1:What a sad day!!!! I was hoping aug 2007 VB would feature a date, not the "u"...it's so frustrating...

PD MAY 2006

How does the August visa bulletin or the old visa bulletin affect consular processing. All the talks are about AOS, what about us whose cases were completed last year and have an earlier priority dates that those AOS who already have approvals of their GC. What will happen to us?

Still hoping as my PD is may 2005 and my case was completed at NVC 12th july 2007 that a visa has already been put aside for me. The msg at the NVC still says wait 6-8 weeks for further instruction so my case is still going on. This has been a long haul i really do feel i am on a roller coaster ride 1 say i am up next day plunging down again.
