If anyone else applying for the nursing corps scholarship 2015-2016 is anything like me then you've been googling like crazy trying to find out information on how to apply or what they need or even previous years winner. Soooooo.....if anyone is applying this year around or previously has and was or wasn't accepted please tell me your experience! Here are my stats PLEASE share yours if you'd like....

Hello! I hope everyone's last semester and this new semester is going well! I was wondering if anyone else has received their January stipend yet? I know it is not late until the 15th but I wasn't sure if the break or holidays has slowed down the process?

I haven't received mine yet. They are probably trying to get all of the enrollment verification forms straight...that's probably slowing them down a bit. Hopefully we will get our stipends this week! (:

Sorry I didn't see this sooner! I need to figure out how to fix it so I can receive notifications...anyway, yes I filled out that form a few weeks ago. I hope your school got it together. Sometimes you have to give them a little 'friendly' reminder (:
Hey guys! Hope all its great with everyone! Just a question ... Have anyone filed their tax yet? I went to my portal and all I've seen uploaded is the W2, which sums up the stipends and ORC. Weren't we suppose to get something else too for the tuition and fees? Or is that all, which is the W2, I need take with me to my tax preparer/consultant?

Oh, okay! Thank you! I assume any tax preparer would know how to do it? I guess I just didn't know if I needed to find out additional instructions from NURSE Corps to tell my tax preparer on how to file it!
I remember reading somewhere that each year we get a 1099 tax form and a W2? I didn't see a 1099 tax form anywhere in the portal. Hmm...
My tax advisor said that since the entire scholarship is taxable it is considered a wage and should be reported on my W2. If anyone else has any other information of I'm wrong please let me know to so I can amend í ½í¸’
