Hello!

If anyone else applying for the nursing corps scholarship 2015-2016 is anything like me then you've been googling like crazy trying to find out information on how to apply or what they need or even previous years winner. Soooooo.....if anyone is applying this year around or previously has and was or wasn't accepted please tell me your experience! Here are my stats PLEASE share yours if you'd like....

I'm biting my nails, refreshing my inbox and following this thread like crazy. I can't take it. The waiting game is too stressful. If I don't get it I won't be able to go to school this fall so I'm praying I get it. Good luck everyone! We all deserve this, I can just tell from the passion I sense when you all post on here.

Same here I won't be able to go to school in the fall and I'll have to reapply for next year

Which schools are you planning on attending, Romero1027 and tellio015? Have you considered working as a CNA to help pay for school?

I'm also in a financial situation where I'll either have to work through school or defer my enrollment if I don't receive this scholarship. tellio015, if you are already accepted, you shouldn't have to reapply; you should be able to defer your enrollment.

I'm in the Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner track at MGH IHP. It is a direct entry program (3years)

I'm in accelerated program and I deferred from the spring cohort so it was my only chance after this they make me reapply :/

I haven't gotten my credit check neither, but my application still says under review. I don't know what to think.

Argh. I have been scouring past years' forums trying to figure out the likelihood of acceptance after getting a credit check. I really hope this week (hopefully tomorrow) brings news at least to someone, to show that they are starting to let finalists know.

Hakhama, when I spoke to a representative last week, she told me that they have been sending notifications everyday.

All finalists undergo a credit check, whether or not they notice it. A credit check means that you are a finalist, but it does not mean that you'll receive in award.

I don't think the representatives on the call line really know what the scorers are doing. If they had started sending out finalist emails, someone would have posted here. Happens every year.

Specializes in Ortho.

Mine wasn't checked, last name J in Pennsylvania. NP student

Helloooo Monday! Today maybe the day for someone. Good luck everyone!

Worst night sleep of my life. Can't decide if it's more bc I'm anxious to hear from this scholarship or bc I have scheduled c section tomorrow. Definitly a combo of the two :barf02
