Hello!
If anyone else applying for the nursing corps scholarship 2015-2016 is anything like me then you've been googling like crazy trying to find out information on how to apply or what they need or even previous years winner. Soooooo.....if anyone is applying this year around or previously has and was or wasn't accepted please tell me your experience! Here are my stats PLEASE share yours if you'd like....
maryland full time nursing student.
VP of my local student nurses association
1st semester done ( :) ) asking for 2 years assistance
GPA 3.44
EFC 0000
4 years of community service in underserved communities
Id think that statistically, plus based on previous years' threads, that one of us who has had a credit check would/will be among the highest ranked group and recieve an award. Or that someone who is reading this is and would comment on the thread. At least thats what I like to believe so that I still have hope lol.
Hello All! I haven't posted in a while, but I have been reading all of your posts. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you; you guys are really helping in keeping me sane during this waiting period (you guys are so knowledgeable about this whole process!). Sadly, I haven't seen a credit check yet, but I have only been checking Credit Karma and I might need to go look elsewhere as well. I hope you all hear great news soon! :) :) :)

All this time I had been assuming that NP students were notified first....
If all of us who received a credit check on June 29, including RN and NP students are in the same rank of applicants, I wonder how they reserve up to half of the scholarship funds for NP students?
Maybe they reserved half of the funds in each rank, such that half of a rank of applicants are RN students, and half are NP students?
If HRSA finished scoring on July 15th, and they send notifications by rank, and they're already sending notifications "every day," maybe we are in the second rank of applicants?
I have so many questions. At this point, I just want to know already. I hope that all of us receive good news in the next two weeks!
