Diary here - just curious to see what everyone else is.
I am an ISTJ - What are you?
i get a different result every time i take one of these tests.i played around tonight with some different tests, and got a different result each time.
test-retest reliability (the likelihood of getting the same results on different occasions) is generally pretty good for the mbti. the thing is that they measure test-retest reliability on different occasions, not on the same night, because there's thought to be a limit to the amount of questions that most people can answer in one sitting while maintaining concentration and interest.
I'm ISFP.
I looked at the jobs and nursing was listed but the discription of this personality makes me seem bipolar or something.
ISFPs may be quite charming and ingratiating on first acquaintance, flowing with compliments which may (or may not) be deserved. On other occasions, the same individual may be aloof and detached. Some ISFP males are fiercely competitive, especially in sport or table games, and may have great difficulty losing. This competitive nature, also seen in other SP types, sometimes fosters 'lucky,' 'gut' feelings and a willingness to take risks.

As an ISFP, I recommend this link for a more balanced view.
For anyone interested in personality types, there is a great system: the "Enneagram" which goes beyond Meyers Briggs as it incorporates developmental/spiritual aspects. Its very helpful. There are lots of books on this. There is a website "www.enneagramInstitute.com
This has been very helpful to me personally and clients I have worked with in therapy...
