I need to vent, hopefully you wonderful people can help me.
This has been driving me to the edge of insanity! There is a nurse in my place who does sexually immoral things ON THE JOB and it angers me he still works here!!
Certain CNAs and nurses are jealous of each other now, DON wonders why work doesn't get done on his shift, and there is favoritism here. I cross oceans for the patients and staff but get told I'm not doing enough but this freakin nurse gets told he's doing a great job and is the best. Do I have to put my **** in the nurses to get some respect around here?! And those involved females wonder why they get "used" for sex, it's because YOU HAVE NO SELF RESPECT!! Granting sexual favors is against company policy and I'm tempted to blow the whistle since I'm unappreciated for my hard work but I have no proof.
Have you guys been in this situation before? How did you handle it? Because I'm about to look for another job. Thanks!

The name is a joke, no one said I needed a serious name. But tell me this, why do you approve of unethical behavior that destroys the team?
We don't know anything about "unethical" behavior, only what your (kind of) confusing post said. How have you come to the conclusion that we are condoning immoral activity?
Since you are not one of the parties involved, I can only speculate that you do not know the whole story. I do hope that you have only made these accusations on the anonymous internet, not at work. If you are truly as outraged & upset as you seem to be, I think it would be wise to start looking for a new position. I would never want to work on a unit where others' activities bothered me so much that I couldn't properly do my job.
What do you mean by doing sexually immoral things? And how are they affecting you?And did you use retarded as an insult? I would expect a lot more from a healthcare worker. If you don't like your job, quit. It's that simple.

OP: from what it sounds, you've got a worse reputation than this supervisor. It also seems that if they are doing "wrong" and you are doing "right," it still doesn't make a difference. Are you really planning on saying something?

You said the behavior was unethical but didn't elaborate therefore we are supposed to take your word about ethical vs unethical. I don't approve of unethical behavior but I don't have enough information about them to pass judgement.

You are worried about morality yet you question if you should stick yours in a nurse? That did not sound like you intended it to be consensual and I find THAT offensive.
Considering I also have a young adult son with a cognitive disability and I work with the developmentally disabled, calling someone retarded as an insult further lost you credibility in my book.
In most jobs sexual/dating activity between equals may be frowned upon but it is not forbidden. If the sex is between people in supervisor/subordinate positions however that is very much against the rules as it can be a sexual harassment suit just waiting to happen. If this is the case you can and should report to the corporate hotline.
I'm sure you've already received some heated replies [i haven't read them all yet] and they are pretty well deserved. You could definitely stand to proof read and edit before posting as you've managed to insult a fair number of people with your language.
Hmmm, I'm confused..is the real issue you're having is that he's being praised and you're not? Or is it that he's having sex and has turned you down? You're wondering how this affects me? Well then, when the "team" is developing communication issues because of someones behavior, which I have no control over since I'm not the one sleeping around, then that breeds a negative work environment. And when I stay positive and offer help to other staff they don't reciprocate, this creates bad relationships. When managers have office pets this can be bad for the other staff who are doing their best for the patients but get no positive reinforcement.
Simple idea yes?
And some of you wonder why I would say "retarded." If you read the text it said, "And those ******* females wonder why they get "used" for sex." You can infer that I'm insulting them for their own self destructive behavior. They were getting jealous of each other when they found out they weren't the only ones being pursued. This creates infighting.
Sex doesn't bother me, like some of you seem to believe. But if you're doing it ON THE CLOCK, wasting COMPANY TIME and destroying relationships in the process, how is it that this doesn't bother you? So some people can bypass rules but you can't?
I have found a new job already, but not for the reasons you all have said. I recall someone saying that if I found a new job then the staff would be happy to see me leave. Who knows where you get such a rude mentality; I can say without a second thought that I"m not half as rude as you are, in person. I may vent with offensive words over the internet but I never do so in person. I can easily predict your response after this.

He's bragging about paying them? Was he egotistically joking, or do you think he was honestly paying them? If the latter, I could see this being a problem.
