I am guessing the OP is talking about the nurse who said Stephon Clark deserved it (to be killed) for being so stupid. She was fired for posting that on social media.

Okay, just looked it up. Her name is Faith Linthicum, and she works (from what I've seen, she hasn't yet been fired, but is on "administrative leave pending investigation") for Kaiser in Roseville, as a labor and delivery nurse.

I think what she said is gross. Just goes to show, "freedom of speech" does not mean "freedom from repercussions."

Facebook is no place to voice political options. People will aggressively hunt you don't if they don't like what you have to say, and it only takes one "friend" to get the ball rolling.

The nurse was not smart, that is for sure. She is entitled to her opinion (no matter how horrible I think that opinion is) but she should have NEVER made the comment where her boss would see it. As a previous poster said: Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences. People need to be more careful what they post.

She got fired. Seems like she could just get a new job, though. She's over 10K, now. Kind of makes me want to get fired, too.

Let me start by saying that I don't agree with her at all...however, maybe I should go on social media and make some over the top, racially charged post, get fired, and try the Go Fund Me route.
