Hi all,
I've been reading up on the Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program and looks like in past years, threads have been started for the yearly application process. I'll be applying as a Staff RN (non-faculty) working at a DSH with an HPSA Score of 16. Not sure of my DTI percentage yet. Hoping to connect with others that will be applying to the program next month and we can all share our updates here. Best of luck to everyone!
This is the first time I have heard from them. It was an email stating to log in as there was a change in my application. When I logged in it asked me to confirm my employment site, confirm I would accept the reward (dependent on funds) and enter banking info.
From reading posts from.previous years, it seems they award in groups (faculty awarded, then NPs and so on) so it is possible faculty are the first group awarded and then you will hear.
Good luck!
Hi all,
I am also a nurse faculty (DTI >170). I received notification on the same day as Jamie956. The email came from [email protected]. I've copied the email below.
You have an application update that requires your response and is time sensitive. Please log into your 2018 NURSE Corps Loan Repayment Program application.
You have until 08/01/2018 to respond to this request. If you do not respond by 08/01/2018, your application will no longer be considered for an award.
Once I accepted the award (finalist), I had to input my bank info.
On the website it states that:All awards will be made no later than September 30th, 2018.
I am praying that I do receive the funding as I've read in past years where applicants were finalist but not funded.
Good luck!!!
RN D/I >180% HPSA 17, I have applied in the past had 2 credit checks and not awarded, did not receive a credit check yet this year. Has Anyone else not received a credit check and been awarded? I have NO clue what I could have possibly filled out incorrectly on my application, since I have applied before.

Congrats!! Just wondering where the email came from. So worried it will go to the junk folder! Fingers crossed!
