Hi! I also applied but I don't think we will hear until August. Given what's happening with COVID I'm sure things are a bit backed up. I also know that they had extended the deadline for applications as well.

Hi SuccessCNM, Your award letter should have the loans listed which are to be included in your repayment. You are only allowed to use the HRSA funds to cover those specified loans. I have nursing loans with Navient and Great Lakes, and was told by HRSA representative that I could only use the funds for Great Lakes since that's the loan company that is listed on my award letter. Hope this is helpful.

Received welcome packet today! I am a Nurse Faculty. Finalist email came on 7/27 and countersign for 8/31. Keep praying and trusting. Nothing is impossible for those who believe. I have been praying for this blessing and I am so thankful.

Hi all, I am also a nurse faculty (DTI >170). I received notification on the same day as Jamie956. The email came from [email protected]. I've copied the email below. You have an application update that requires your response and is time sensitive. Please log into your 2018 NURSE Corps Loan Repayment Program application. You have until 08/01/2018 to respond to this request. If you do not respond by 08/01/2018, your application will no longer be considered for an award. Once I accepted the award (finalist), I had to input my bank info. On the website it states that:All awards will be made no later than September 30th, 2018. I am praying that I do receive the funding as I've read in past years where applicants were finalist but not funded. Good luck!!!
