I received my continuation email today! My contract was scheduled to end 8/19/21 and now shows 22! It was countersigned on 7/22. Such a relief! I never had a credit check either. But if it helps, my original award date was 7/22 as well, so maybe they worked off of that.. hope everyone else gets good news today!

congrats ladies! curious as to whether you had a credit check prior to getting a countersignature? I have not received any sort of update, but after emailing in the middle of June - received a response that said "Your application is moving along the many steps of the review process. You will be alerted of the status of your award via your participant portal. Thank you for your question. Have a great day!" but I am definitely losing hope on a third year renewal ?

I called to check on a continuation. She said that some awards had started but not all. Reminded me that most, but not all, receive a continuation if all the criteria have been met. Things they look at are: was all loan money distributed to the accounts, were POC checks completed in a timely manner, and were less than 30 unexcused days absent from employer site. I guess I don't feel completely hopeless but would still feel better if I heard something more definitive.

When does your application say last updated?

ugh,, my service date still says it ends this august.. heavy sigh.

Does anyone know of someone not getting a continuation award while meeting all the qualifications? I haven't had a credit check yet and it makes me pretty worried! I received my initial award in 2019. Nurse faculty.

I haven’t either. I wonder if it’s getting slowed up because of the stimulus money?

I am a nurse faculty. Received Nurse Corp Loan Repayment Program. I work in a disadvantaged background facility and am Tier I based on a DTI ratio of 200%. Third year applying.

I got my welcome letter as well! Third year trying so no one give up!

Yes! My contract says “your nurse Corp signed contract” and under my name it has the approver signature time stamped from today at 4:23 pm. Still no email notification.

That’s awesome! I got my award COI on July 24th 6 pm for nurse faculty. Anxiously hoping on a counter signature!!

Has anyone that received notification as a finalist been co-signed yet? I was made a finalist on 7/24. No word otherwise.
