2018 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program

Hi all,

I've been reading up on the Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program and looks like in past years, threads have been started for the yearly application process. I'll be applying as a Staff RN (non-faculty) working at a DSH with an HPSA Score of 16. Not sure of my DTI percentage yet. Hoping to connect with others that will be applying to the program next month and we can all share our updates here. Best of luck to everyone!

Hi,

I received the credit check in April and second employment verification May 22, then my application date changed to May too.

I called at the time "confused" as I knew my work had already done a verification, she implied it was second verification to make sure I will still working at said place and "it was a good thing, that award letters would be distributed end of July".

I haven't heard anything since though!

It was for NHSC, I'm still under review though.

I have my fingers crossed, waiting until "end of July".

I am thankful to say that after several years of applying I got the coi email and I put in all my details. Now I am waiting for the final signature. Wishing everyone goid luck.

It's NHSC. I did not have any information about a second coi and I never asked my site contact.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to give an update: I got my finalist email today (yay!) This is for the Nurse Corp LRP. I am a faculty member (site score 17, DTI >200%).

I had to comfirm my place of employment and provide banking info, it said all rewards would be given no late than 9/30.
