Hey I was wondering who has applied to the Nursing Program @ Nova starting fall 2010?
I would like to know of any updates any one has heard on the process, interviews, etc.
thanks!! best of luck!!
Danesc12,
Thank you for your information; however, I cannot volonteer at Baptist. I work full time and go to school full time. This summer I am enrolled in 20 credit hours. It's really hard work; however, may be after I graduate with my A.A. at Broward College, I will look into volonteer work. Thanks anyway.
I sent an email to the nursing counselor...hopefully she'll respond back to me quickly with any info or updates on my application..I'm officially feeling indifferent about NOVA...for the most part a lot of these nursing schools..and the people working there are so clueless of whats going on with students who are applying..they obviously don't know the right words to say..if one more person tells me to be patient I think I'm going to lose it...lol..at this point I have all the reason to be ****** off..today I made a phone call to the second school i applied to just to figure out what the heck happened with my application..since acceptance and denial letters were mailed out june 11th..and no one has returned my call..i swear i must've called these people and spoken to tons of different people for the entire month of june..and at the beginning of july..and I haven't gotten any constructive information from them...inclusively their nursing counselor is the most miserable person I've ever encountered...she must seriously hate her life or something...JEEZ...sorry..just had to vent!
lindalove,
I am not sure if you would go this route, but BC is starting a BSN program. I actually got accepted to their school for Fall, and I ran with it. I made it my first choice, because the price it great. I can actually afford to pay it without any student loans. Don't be patient look into them. They tell you right away if you are in or not. I found out within a month. I know NOVA is a great school, but the price is very costly and @ Broward I got real personal attention. I even got to speak with the dean of the nursing program! I felt like my app was not lost in a pile. Maybe that is another option you may have, and they are taking apps for January right now.

Ralph=Congrats on your acceptance! I hope your happy wherever you go. Keep in touch and good luck
! Take care
Linda, futurenurse= I would call and get an update on your application. Some of us pending students got an acceptance a few days after deferring. I'm sorry your still waiting. I hope it ends soon. If calling doesn't help. I would go and talk to someone in person and show them how important this is to you. Remember, sometimes they can't give you information over the phone but if you are there they have no choice.
kristou= thanks for the info regarding the memorial hospitals very helpful- will be looking into it for Winter term.
