  1. Anyone get any more interviews? I went to my HR interview right before the new year in December but they haven't called to schedule a panel yet. I've been calling but they said to just be patient and wait by the phone. Does anyone have any updates they can provide. Thanks!
  2. What kind of questions did HR ask you?
  3. Does anyone know of any StaRN Residency programs in south florida, in broward or miami area?
  4. Does anyone know the actual start date for the versant program? My understanding is it starts in March. Also was the HR interview in person or over the phone?
  5. I graduated from nursing school with my BSN in 2013. I have taken the NCLEX 4 times and I have been unsuccessful. Anyone has any ideas as to any careers I can pursue without my license? I have looked into research but they require a license. I'm considering teaching high school biology, anatomy & physiology, and Health. But I would like something in the Health care field. Any suggestions would help. I also live in Florida.
  6. Ely- its only for the first semester that we have to commute to Davie then We are always at kendall. No shuttle, but car pooling.

  9. she said about not having all the classes ready? She mentioned that we are suppose to have two class sections and they haven't figured what are going to be the two different class sections. Therefore, the students who registered early had to drop our classes until things get figured out. Then, she will personally register us. She hopes it will be done by next week? I was going to call her back by next week if my schedule hasn't changed.
  10. Aru- apparently, its the wrong schedule! I just spoke to Evelyn she is the person who does our schedule for the kendall campus she told me I had to drop all of my classes. She said she will be registering me next week.
  11. Aru= this is my schedule, let me know if you have the same one: NUR3000 CRN:30107 NUR3160 CRN:30108 NUR3005 CRN:30109 PHS4904 CRN:30129
  12. Aru1, I will attending Kendall campus and I registered for classes!! so excited, can't wait to start! Have you registered yet?
  13. Futurenutrire- thanks for the informatio, very helpful!!
  14. lalexa= a lot of us had applied to fall of 2010 and due to x reasons we were told by nova to defer our applications to the winter term of 2011 and we would have preference over other students (of course we still needed to have the gpa and all the above to be considered). i'll present to you my case. i had applied in april of 2010 for the fall term of 2010 with a 3.4 gpa from fiu. my science gpa is a 3.7. on my application, i presented my bls certification along with the fact that i was a cna (certified nursing assistant). in july i was told to defer my application for the winter term. then, i got accepted for the winter term in july-maybe about 2 or 3 days from deferring my application. it honestly was a very long, emotionally draining process for all those who had to defer. most of us had waited for about 4-5 months without knowing if we were going to get accepted and then nova tells us to defer our application for the winter term. i believe i speak for most of us when i say we are very grateful we have been given this opportunity despite of what may have happened the past. however, there have been some students who have gotten accepted who were not deferred students. those students just applied really early. nova is now doing this "first come, first serve" due to limited amount of space and high volume of applicants. therefore, the best advice is apply as soon as you can for the term you want becuase space is limited and the competion is fierce. however, it seems has if you have applied early and are in good standing. its now all about the waiting game. i really wish you the best of luck and ill keep you in my prayers. i hope this information was helpful.:)
  15. Karina= Thanks for the info, I was able to register for my classes! I can't wait Jani= What campus are going to? Ill be at Kendall!
