my GPA is 3.71

I applied at Nova for Fall 2009 and did not get accepted because the guy in charge promised me that I would get in and for some reason, he got fired and I didnt get in! So I swore to myself that I would never go to Nova again and applied to BCC for May 2010. Well, 691 people applied, and only 75 were accepted...crazy!!! Anyhow, I decided to give Nova another shot..HOPEFULLY this time I will get accepted!!

Did you apply at any other school? I also applied at FAU,BCC, and Keiser (but Keiser is my last choice; the are really expensive)

I dont see why you wouldn't get accepted. I heard the Interviews are really important, so hopefully that also goes well. Fingers crossed.My gpa is a 3.5, and im currently attending FIU. I have not yet applied to another school, I have my hopes set for Nova, since they offer the BHS Scholars program, I am hoping to hear back from Nova soon and take it from there.

hey i am new to this site and came across this blog... i sent in my app in January and the lady that was there told me that by the beginning of April something should start as far as acceptance, interviews or denials.... i am super nervous.... i dont think my gpa and everything else is as strong as others however, my friend that is in the January class said its also all about the interview and how you answer the questions... sometimes im so nervous i want to throw up lol

I feel the same way. I only have a 3.4 GPA. Compared to others its low.

well you are one point ahead of me right now i have a 3.35 and i am taking Micro right now... so maybe it will jump to a 3.4 once the semester is over. but you know what i know 2 ppl that got accepted in January with lower gpa's than ours. One had a 3.2 and the other one had a 3.0 exactly. She nailed her interview... so i dunno how they are rating this u know .... She also had an awesome essay... i know they go by point systems though..

Ahy, I really hope I get in. I went to one open house and loved it! It is an awesome program.

yes it is I work for Baptist so i know all of the info for the scholars and Nova is one of the best next to Miami Dade believe it or not. Its a longer program than others out there but their NCLEX percentage is as good as FIU's and Barry's so they are up there. I as nervous as you are....
