orientation was indeed loooong ..but today was our first session in anatomy and phys,,and i have to say that the professor is FUHMAZING!!! shes so great..anyways do you guys (those in A and P for this semester) want to try and get a study group together once exam time rolls around? i feel like we will all benefit from eachother....also I have a question about the anatomy assignment...there is no actual assignment is there? only the whole getting familiar with the skeletal and muscle system of lower and upper limbs right? we don't have anything to necessarily complete or to turn in correct?

ahh!! yes lets meet up by the big clock roughly around 7:30 no? Or maybe we should just try to meet up inside! I'm going to wear a red dress...you can't miss me lol..I just noticed that my schedule is out of whack..for some reason im registered for three classes..and im not registered for the intro to professional nursing course..hopefully i can get that fixed tomorrow...or figured out..im so excited!!

One more week you guys!!! YAAYY!!! I'm a little stressed because my financial aid awards still have not been posted and I'm currently still listed as an out of state student..and last but not least I ordered the tops to my scrubs about a week ago and they still haven't arrived... I called the person who is in "charge" of the orders and he was supposed to transfer me to the "manager" and no one has returned my calls.. lol..I guess I just need to continue to pepper them until someone gives me some type of info on where the heck my scrubs are...the drama is never ending with NOVA! lol

does anyone have florida bright futures? I recently updated my information so that my scholarship can transfer over to nova but as of now its not listed in my financial aid awards status...my FINAID is the only thing I'm waiting on at this point..that and my in state tuition to be fixed..

I feel your pain girl! Well I received an email back from the person in charge of our registration. She told me that the academic term begins on the 23rd but that our classes on campus begin on the 31st..after orientation. So at least that clears that up..let me know how it goes for you at nova tomorrow...I know that tuition is due 30 days after the term begins but I want all of this financial stuff settled before I begin..I ordered three tops of scrubs about two weeks ago..I had them shipped to my home but I'm still waiting for them to get here...also I ordered my coat last week...it'll probably get here in a two weeks or so..supposedly we don't need the scrubs until the second semester..but our lab coat we need by the first semester..i wonder if we can wear our scrubs if we have them though..

well my schedule has finally been posted. i also have some classes that supposedly begin on August 23rd..I emailed the person in charge of registration to this if this is accurate or not. According to the email i received for orientation we are not supposed to start face to face classes until august 31st...the day after orientation..but I'm not one hundred percent sure of this so I emailed her to make sure this is the case. Also, I'm still registered as out of state student..my financial aid awards still haven't been established either..I submitted all my paperwork last Wednesday.so maybe this will take a week or so to finish up..the person at the quick stop shop told me it takes about two weeks or so to get a financial aid award package set up..since I was admitted so late into the summer I'm assuming it will take some time for me..do any of you guys have any advice for the financial aid process? do you guys remember how long it took for your awards..and loans to be set up? also, I'm a florida bright futures recipient..and none of that has shown up either on my account..the only thing I'm worried about at this point is my financial aid how much longer is this going to take ?

hey everyone! I just checked my nova email account and theres an orientation bbq going on this wednesday from 5 to 9! I think this would be an awesome chance for all of us to meet up and mingle! Are any of you guys interested in going? Its only for HDP students... let me know! Maybe we can set something up

they don't have a campus in orlando..they have a nursing program available in ft meyers..and davie, fl...

i received an email saying that I was officially registered for classes, however, when I tried to log in to view my schedule it was not available..apparently there is a hold on my account and I need to contact my advisor to see what it is..(!!!) so frustrating..now I have to wait til monday to know what the heck this hold is tried to look it up on my account and it just says "advanced hold..contact advisor" uggggh
