Nova Southeastern University Spring '12

Hi! I will be submitting my NSU application at the beginning of next week (just waiting on my second L.O.R.) and I can't wait! I am very anxious to hear back from them, and have my fingers tightly crossed I will get accepted for spring. Are there any other hopefuls out there??

I spoke to Ashley yesterday she said that their still accepting people . My guess is that their trying to see if anyone gives up their spot too either way last semester I didn't get my letter of deferment until August and the deadline to apply was may people started finding out in June so just don't worry guys be positive :)

Hey I'm also waiting to hear from Nova for the winter 2012 nursing program. I have no recieved anything in the mail yet. I called today and they said they were still sending out notices the lady said they would be for the next week-week in a half. I'm really nervous and anxious. I have a 3.65 GPA and all my pre-req courses done. So we just have to wait and see Leave it in Gods hands!!!!

Hey Guys,

I received my acceptance email two weeks ago, and my official mail package last Saturday. I will be declining my spot at the main campus.

So a seat will be opened after today. GOOD LUCK! ;)

jael11 what was your GPA!? Did you just have pre reqs done or your Associates? Congrats on your other acceptance!!

when i emailed last week about rejection letters, this was the response i received:

"we hope to have admissions decisions made soon. we will send you a letter in the mail with the final decision. thank you for your patience. "

i don't know how soon is soon, but a week later, still haven't received anything either. honestly, i've given up stressing out over it, but feel free to give them a call and get a more current update on the process.

if it makes you feel any better, like i already mentioned before, if you read older threads on this forum about nova, people were getting accepted up to 6 weeks after the first e-mails went out. also, a lot of applications get deferred to the next semester due to the sheer volume received.

Thanx for the info!!! I just want to get the letter so I can call them and hopefully they'll tell me why I didn't get accepted because I want to apply again as soon as possible. =S

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this site, and I've been reading through the messages that you guys wrote. I'm also awaiting on Nova's decision for the spring semester.

I called this morning, I spoke to a lady in admissions (not Ashley), and she said that they were still accepting students.

I'm a bit frustated because November is coming to an end, and I know once your accepted into the program there's so much to do after words, like residency (financial aid), payments, immunization records, etc.

Well, I wish you all (those who are waiting) best of luck. Hopefull we'll receive some good news soon.

I just sent the form to decline my seat in the mail yesterday, so that will be one spot available for someone. I also know someone else who's declining their spot, so hey there's two open spots right there....!?!?!?!?!
