Hi everyone, congrats to all of you who were accepted! I was recently accepted to the master's family nurse practitioner program at UM- I also did the accelerated program a few years ago so I know exactly what you will be going through and how busy you will be with studying. I'm from Boca and I am currently working at a hospital in Miami but now that I have been accepted to the FNP program, I will have to move to Miami for sure. Looking to live in the Brickell/Downtown/Miami River area or Coral Gables :)

Hi everyone, I also just applied for the 2015 Spring FNP (part-time). The last of my transcripts was received on the 24th and I know NursingCAS still has to calculate my GPA, which can apparently take weeks. Since the deadline for the program is October 1st, I'm not sure if I made the deadline because all of my information required to submit and payment is there or if I will miss the deadline because my GPA presumably won't be calculated by then (that is the only thing that is missing). I might be a little late to the party seeing as a lot of people already have interviews, but I am looking forward to seeing all the "I GOT ACCEPTED" posts :)

To those of you still waiting- check your VIP page! I just found out this morning that I got accepted to the Main Campus :)

To those of you from the Main Campus who are still waiting to hear of a decision from Nova like me, the pre-registration fee is due this Wednesday (according to the VIP page). Just sayin'.........

If I don't hear anything by tomorrow morning, I'll call in the afternoon and find out if they're still accepting people.

Not sure... I thought they were sending the decisions out in waves over a 2 week period from last Tuesday, but I haven't heard of anyone else finding out their decision since last Tuesday. From my understanding, the second wave hasn't gone out yet. Hopefully...

I thought they would be releasing decisions every few days, but I guess not. Maybe Monday we'll hear something.

Dakaylie, Was she rejected for spring 2012? That's pretty scary- she has a really solid GPA. Overall GPA for me is 3.62. I remember Prisci writing that nova re-calculates GPA to only include their pre reqs- in that case I have a 3.88. After hearing your friend's story, I'm pretty nervous. I got accepted into another school but nova is my first choice.

Oh wow, that's not good... I thought they'd let you know in some kind of way. I guess I'll just ride out these 2 weeks until I start calling. Has anyone else here heard of their decision since Tuesday? I'm wondering when each one of these "waves" is released.
