Nov test takers

Anybody is taking NCELX in Nov? Let's get together and support each other to go through this. I am taking the test on NOv 19. Studying tips are welcome too.

Well, after traveling all the way to London I learned through Pearson Vue unofficial results that I did not pass. The computer cut off at 75. The whole test was surreal. It was hard! There were things on there that in all my study material I had not come across like Chinese culture, herbal supplements, and the medication Zetia. I was thrilled that it stopped at 75, but I had no way of knowing if I passed or not. I felt as though it could've gone either way, but I was hoping for the best.

I feel a bit lost right now. I am not certain what direction to take. I have to wait 45 days before I can test again. I took myself and my family (husband and children) through the ringer stuyding. It seriously impacted my home life because I was always off studying.

I do not know if I should continue in study mode--as the fire is still there. Or maybe I should take a break and reapproach this after a little while?

My first initial feeling was to test as soon as possible. I need to get this over as soon as possible. I cannot have this hanging over my head. Any advice?

Im really sorry about your results. I can not begin to imagine how you feel but I can say this: DO NOT GIVE UP. Through perseverance you will achieve your goal. I agree with Suzanne, you need to take a break and then start fresh. Wait for your results and then begin your daily regimen of studying. I hear a lot of good things about Suzannes plan.

IGMINOR, I had a lot of infection control, a lot of medications (I hadnt heard of half of them but used an educated guess), endocrine is a major topic.

So, you can log right back on and register? But you can't set an appointment until 45 days of your last test, right? Do you have a new appointment already? Or do you have to wait for a new ATT? Also, I know that we do not live in the same state but do you have to repay your State Board of Nursing license by examination fee over again? Thanks.

I believe that you do have to pay pearson again, and have to pay the state board a reduced fee. For example, in FL the initial fee is 205 but when you retake the test is a reduced fee.

I think that you have to wait for a new ATT just like the first time you took the test.

hang in there, study right. Look "roseshea" passed her test the second time around, she probably studied this time.

So study study study and you will make it!!:balloons:

Im keeping my fingers crossed for all you who took your exam today. I did say a little prayer for you guys. Im sure you all did GREAT. There is something about the Nov test takers...the majority of us are passing!

NYUNURSE, your exam sounds like mine except more questions. I also had the same question more than once, except worded differently. Mine were on INFECTION CONTROL and then it made me double think whether I had answered the first one right. I did stick to my original answer...something about using NEGATIVE PRESSURE ROOM AND ISOLATION.

Im sure you all did great. In a few days you will be able to put an end to your anxiety and it'll feel GREEEEEEEAT :)

I posted mine at the other thread that i am also in Nov testtaker of NCLEX. I did not know that there is a new thread. anyway, i took mine last Nov 1 of California BON.

I just got my result and I ... PASSED!:balloons::biggringi:roll:w00t:

This is the best Thanksgiving i've had!

Interesting med strategy - I didn't go in having one, and only got a few. I didn't recognize them for the life of me anyway.

Hello all. i took my test yesterday (Nov. 26th) and eventhough I have been there 4 times before it still felt like the first time. I don't know how I feel about it and I am scared of failing again. Please all pray for me that I pass. Congrats to all that have passed so far and to those still to take God Bless and good luck.

]i just took my test yesterday nov 26.. and everything i focused on wasnt on the test... i basically focused on diseases and meds. but the test gave me alot or priority questions... my test stopped at like 170.. and i really think i failed..now i cant sleep, cause im so stressed out. and guess what today the 27th is my birthday.. bummer..:angryfire

as i have been telling you all along, you can do this. no one goes in knowing all they needed to know its just a risk you take. we were all scared out our wits! no matter when you test, i cant wait to hear the good news. i know you will be fine.

I didn't recognize any either... .... I chose with picking the highest mg... because that is all the info I got... the med and the mg it had. I had a lot of these!

i passed my test just found out with 75 q's.:smiley_aa:smiley_aa:smiley_aai used kaplan and saunders.

wish all test takers good luck....look at your notes day or two before test to refresh yourself.

for those who did not make it...don"t loose your hope !!!!!! be strong, make a plan, follow your plan and try to understand not memorise.study and pray to god... i was not feeling well this day (such extent that right after the test we went to emergency room) but god helped me to go through this...i am very grateful for him...i though i did not make it...
