I DON'T KNOW WHY I CAN'T MAKE INDENTATION, SPACING, BOLD LETTERS, ETC....SO EXCUSE IF YOU'RE HAVING A HARD TIME READING THIS.I've been to two interviews last week. The first interview I went to I think went okay, but I am not too sure that I'll get that one. I was a bit rusty with my answers. The second interview with another hospital went really well. I got good feedback from the interviewers. From both interviews, they pretty much asked the same type of questions. Here are some that I can remember....not exactly the exact words, but something in this line...a) Tell me something about yourself.b) What made you decide to be a nurse?c) Tell me an incident while you were a student that made you say to yourself "This is the reason why I want to be a nurse." d) Tell me an incident while at clinical where you had a difficult day....how did you handle it? If you are faced with the same situation, how will you handle it now that you are a nurse?e) How do you handle stress?f) What are your strengths and weaknesses? How do you think you can improve?g) What are your short and long-term goals?h) What are the five rights of medication administration?i) Why do you want to work in this hospital? So far these are the ones I can remember. I will write more when I remember them. My advice to you is to be yourself. Don't forget to ask questions. Prepare them before your interview. Merry Christmas and Happy 2008 to all
