Anybody is taking NCELX in Nov? Let's get together and support each other to go through this. I am taking the test on NOv 19. Studying tips are welcome too.

i took the test last nov 28..when will i receive the result?

Hi Gwafuh we're on the same boat... did you receive your results via snail mail?? I haven't receive it yet since i just received my SSN the day before the exam...:lol2:

Before passing my test, I was working as a nursing assistant at a pediatric hospital (the best! everyfloor is a peds floor!). I have a job offer already at orthopedic/surgical floor, so I will probably take it, it's at night for $28/hr 12hr/shifts

I think that working at night will be best for me, because then I will be available for my baby during the day.

I will put her in a daycare center so I can sleep during the day. My husband works eveningshift and gets out at 12midnight.

Received my nursing license in the mail on Wednesday...it was so plain, it looked like a voter registration card...after all the stress and tension I was hoping for stars and smiley faces on it or something,,,,lol....

I interviewed yesterday for a 3 month intern program here at our local hospital. There are other opportunities available as far as making more money goes, but I believe, for me, right now going through the training and precepting that goes with this program will prove to be the most beneficial way to start my career as an RN. Lord willing, I will be working in their brand new state of the art Rehab facility they just built, because I love Rehab and totally believe in it and believe it is where God wants me to be.... The interview with the human resource nurse and the nurse manager went great, we seemed to connect on a lot of bases as far as our thoughts and beliefs in relation to patient care and healthcare in general...So, hopefully January 14th I will begin the intern program...The shift I am shooting for is called the Weekend Special which will be days 7a-7p, either Fri, Sat, and Sun, or Sat, Sun, and Mon...it pays a little more than a regular days shift, but less than the night shift differential.....

I still check back and read this post and the Dec. takers post, because I can still relate to what everyone has gone through and I know for myself this forum was really what supported me and helped keep my hope and faith going even through I didn't write on here till after my test.......It has been truly a blessing.....

My prayer for you all is that God has brought us to this and I pray that He will carry us throughout our careers to be carry His will in bringing love, support, and peace to our patient's lives during their times of stress...........and We can relate to stress, now can't we?! lol

God Bless all of you, and I will be keeping an eye on this forum as the days go on.....

I am glad to see everybody is still around and we should support each other until all of us find a job placement. I just passed my test and my name is on the MA BON today, so happy. I will start my job searching from next week, prepare my CV and cover letter, and then call the nurse recruiter of the hospitals. Does that sound a good way to do? I wish we can share some of the interview tips, experience, good web sites, questions and answers that you had at your interview, etc. That would be great help.
