Anybody is taking NCELX in Nov? Let's get together and support each other to go through this. I am taking the test on NOv 19. Studying tips are welcome too.

Well, after traveling all the way to London I learned through Pearson Vue unofficial results that I did not pass. The computer cut off at 75. The whole test was surreal. It was hard! There were things on there that in all my study material I had not come across like Chinese culture, herbal supplements, and the medication Zetia. I was thrilled that it stopped at 75, but I had no way of knowing if I passed or not. I felt as though it could've gone either way, but I was hoping for the best.

I feel a bit lost right now. I am not certain what direction to take. I have to wait 45 days before I can test again. I took myself and my family (husband and children) through the ringer stuyding. It seriously impacted my home life because I was always off studying.

I do not know if I should continue in study mode--as the fire is still there. Or maybe I should take a break and reapproach this after a little while?

My first initial feeling was to test as soon as possible. I need to get this over as soon as possible. I cannot have this hanging over my head. Any advice?

hi everyone... just found out that i failed. i logged in to Pearson right after and registered to take the exam again. i thought it would be wise to do so while i still can, before all of this sinks in and breaks me down. this is soooooooo sadddddddd:bluecry1:

Take a break and then start studying again but wait for results as it will tell you areas you where short in and where to work at. Don't rush to resit

Sorry to hear that, I would take a short break and give your brain chance to recover. Sometimes rushing to resit results in too much pressure and another fail so don't sit until you are ready to sit.

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE TAKEN THE TEST THIS NOVEMBER .COULD YOU JUST LIST THE BROAD TOPICS YOU WERE TESTED ON FOR Eg. CULTURE, EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS, TRIAGE DRUGS(CLASS) POSITIONS, BIOTERRORISM OR EVEN SOMETHING YOU DID NOT EXPECT TO BE TESTED ON ETC. PLEASE I DON'T EXPECT ANY REAL QUESTIONS JUST THE KIND OF QUESTIONS ASKED . I AM SURE ALL OF THE FUTURE TEST TAKERS WILL APPRECIATE ANY ANSWERS.

I will taking my second attempt this nov 26, hope i can make it this time...I'm little bit nervous feeling that i'm not yet prepared...nov test takers lets pray for each other...godbless..

My prayers go out to you & Nyunrse2B. I pray that God Bless you at this time and give you peace as you take this exam. I pray that he guilds your hand and take control of your mind so that you may answer all the questions correctly.

Please note that God loves you and so does your Nov. family. Take your time and answer the questions to the best of your ability --- you can do it. Just remember that we are praying for you.

So, you can log right back on and register? But you can't set an appointment until 45 days of your last test, right? Do you have a new appointment already? Or do you have to wait for a new ATT? Also, I know that we do not live in the same state but do you have to repay your State Board of Nursing license by examination fee over again? Thanks.

I took my nclex-rn exam today. My questions stopped at 79 and I am very scared. I got alot of med ques and priority. I've been enc by this thread.

hey guys...i just finished my test...

I had like 200 questions ( stopped looking after 170)....

anywyzz i had a ton of priority questions (like who would u see first, whose telephone message would u return first, which pt will u see if u are a home health nurse, which pt would need immediate MD visit etc etc).......

Then i had like a good amount of math questions ( i am good at math and these questions were easy one's too, but kept coming and coming..anyone else had these???)

And for sumreasons, i kept getting a couple of questions over and over again, but worded differently...

then i had like handfull of medication questions (basically which medication would u question ).....

i think i had like 4-6 SATA questions (is that good or bad???)

well thats all i remeber....this wait is the worst now....anywyzz thanks for keeping me in ur prayer and please do keep me in ur prayer.....

Im keeping my fingers crossed for all you who took your exam today. I did say a little prayer for you guys. Im sure you all did GREAT. There is something about the Nov test takers...the majority of us are passing!

NYUNURSE, your exam sounds like mine except more questions. I also had the same question more than once, except worded differently. Mine were on INFECTION CONTROL and then it made me double think whether I had answered the first one right. I did stick to my original answer...something about using NEGATIVE PRESSURE ROOM AND ISOLATION.

Im sure you all did great. In a few days you will be able to put an end to your anxiety and it'll feel GREEEEEEEAT :)
