  1. HI JE DA! Im still here too! Havent been job searching yet. Im expecting my first born on the 19th of this month (DEC 19th)... its a boy!!! I plan to stay home with my little one until late Feb. but will begin job searching by mid Jan (hopefully!) Im going to be looking for a position in Pediatrics...no adults for me, lol. I received my actual license in the mail yesterday. Not to sure what to do with it??? Ill probably get it laminated??? Well how are you doing? How is everyone doing? Ready for the holidays??? WISHING YOU ALL A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR! Maria, RN
  2. Hi CASH, I finished the NCSBN 5 week online course on Nov 17 with an overall average of 65%. My test scores ranged anywhere from 55% to 78%. I PASSED! Do not be discouraged by your scores at first. If you continue to do the exams you will see your scores go up. Even with this in mind, my scores did not exceed a 65% average. I did, however, have an average of 74% on Saunders. Good luck to you! Maria, RN
  3. congrats rirn2b!!!
  4. Im really sorry to hear that NYUNURSE. I was rooting for you...hoping I would log in today and see your post saying you passed. Please have faith and dont give up. YOU WILL BE AN RN! Love, Maria
  5. Your more than welcome GOOD LUCK TO YOU. Maria
  6. I did the 5 week course. I personally would recommend the 5 week course because it'll give you time to go through all of the review material (the review material is extensive) PLUS you may even have enough time to do some of the exams more than once. Also, I had a few friends who went for the 3 week course and never got around to finishing all the exams. Another thing, you want to time your course along with your NCLEX exam so that you finish your course no greater than a week away from your exam date. This way everything is FRESH in your mind! Hope I could be of assistance :) Good luck in your studies! Maria
  7. I wish you the best of luck MATCHBOX2019!!! Im sure you did great. CONGRATS NARINE on your accomplishment. Maria
  8. Im really sorry about your results. I can not begin to imagine how you feel but I can say this: DO NOT GIVE UP. Through perseverance you will achieve your goal. I agree with Suzanne, you need to take a break and then start fresh. Wait for your results and then begin your daily regimen of studying. I hear a lot of good things about Suzannes plan. IGMINOR, I had a lot of infection control, a lot of medications (I hadnt heard of half of them but used an educated guess), endocrine is a major topic. Hope my 2 cents help Love, Maria
  9. Im keeping my fingers crossed for all you who took your exam today. I did say a little prayer for you guys. Im sure you all did GREAT. There is something about the Nov test takers...the majority of us are passing! NYUNURSE, your exam sounds like mine except more questions. I also had the same question more than once, except worded differently. Mine were on INFECTION CONTROL and then it made me double think whether I had answered the first one right. I did stick to my original answer...something about using NEGATIVE PRESSURE ROOM AND ISOLATION. Im sure you all did great. In a few days you will be able to put an end to your anxiety and it'll feel GREEEEEEEAT :) Love, Maria
  10. Good luck Ergito2 and NYUNURSE2B! Good luck to you guys. I will say a little prayer for you on the morning of your test. You guys can do it! Take your time with the first 75 questions. Even if you spend 3 minutes thinking through a question. This exam is more about CRITICAL THINKING and not so much knowledge. YOU CAN DO IT! Love, Maria
  11. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH EVERYONE!!! It does feel greeeeat to put that RN behind my name. I worked really hard for it so Im going to use it every chance I get, lol. NYUNURSE, you will do great. Your scores on NCSBN are like mine. My advice to you is the advice you gave ME of "take your time with the first 75 questions". It took me a good 2 hours and a half to finish 77 questions. But it paid off. Keep up your studying. I will pray for you. Thanks for everyones support. Love, Maria RN
  12. Woo Hoo....its a party in here!!! Exam Date: 11/21 and PASSED. Congrats to all November test takers. Maria
  13. Thanks guys!!!! Im sure you did GREEEEAT! I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you. Maria
  14. I studied for about a month and a half with the NCSBN online review and did some Saunders questions along with that. Found out today that I passed with 77 questions! I think 6 weeks is a good time frame...not too long and not too short. Whatever time frame and review program you choose...stick to it!!! Maria
