Anybody is taking NCELX in Nov? Let's get together and support each other to go through this. I am taking the test on NOv 19. Studying tips are welcome too.

i've been reviewing since July and i've been answering a lot of questions since that month... i've also read the 3rd edition of Saunder's Comprehensive Review and doing the practice questions there... I'm also using test taking strategies with each question that I encounter.. I've finished the Exam Cram for RN practice questions because the format in that book is as the same as the actual NCLEX... I will be taking the exam on November 28 and I hope that GOD will be with me during the exam... I'm always being optimistic with myself and I really hope I can join the "CLUB"... goodluck to all who will take their exams, and I will always pray for all of us... congratulations to all who passed!! Hey guys, just took the exam yesterday. wheeew it was long 5 1/2 hours (265). Don't know what to say, don't know how I feel. I left there with a migraine headache. It was lots of priority, delegation, OB, Psych, Peds, lots of SATA, 4 math with conversion. The only thing it was not that many Pharm maybe 5 or 6. Right now I am going to leave it in GODs hands as he is the one who brought me this far. And I will continue to pray and give him thanks every single day for this. I ask that my family NOV test takers keep me in their thoughts and prayers until the end.

I will continue to keep the faith and stay strong.

God answers prayers all the time.

i passed!!!!!!!!!!!

i just want to thank god almight for answering my prayers and giving me the wisdow and knowledge to pass the exam.

also, i would like to thank my nov. family for your prayer and support. i felt your prayers the whole entire time while i was taking the exam. i was not nervous at all. i went in there took the test and came out not feeling like i passed or failed---i just didn't have a feeling at all. but i looked at the nursing board today and my name was on there.

i want to thank suzanne for her support and help. i didn't use your entire plan, but i did use the first half and your method to use the saunder's book and cd only.

igmirnor - i only used the saunder book and cd. i just went at my own speed, which took me 6 month to complete.

love you all and i will continue to keep everyone in my prayers.

Thanks for your post! It used to be that only heath food fanatics knew about, and actually cared about medicinal herbs. I would think side effects would be a biggie, because people don't realize that the plant world has long been a major source of drugs. i.e., if you take an SSRI and then take St. John's Wort, you might as well be taking too much of your prescription drug, because it, too, is an SSRI.

Nobody will get asked this, but did you know that valerian root, which I sometimes take for insomnia, is practically Neruontin, or gabapentin? It mimics gaba, one of the transmitter "brakes" in the nervous system.

Some herbals can be downright dangerous, but it's also good that people are educating themselves about health.
