Hey guys, just took the exam yesterday. wheeew it was long 5 1/2 hours (265). Don't know what to say, don't know how I feel. I left there with a migraine headache. It was lots of priority, delegation, OB, Psych, Peds, lots of SATA, 4 math with conversion. The only thing it was not that many Pharm maybe 5 or 6. Right now I am going to leave it in GODs hands as he is the one who brought me this far. And I will continue to pray and give him thanks every single day for this. I ask that my family NOV test takers keep me in their thoughts and prayers until the end.

I will continue to keep the faith and stay strong.

God answers prayers all the time.

Don't worry I will continue to pray for you guys. I believe God is doing something wonderful for us because we came together as a group and prayed and put all the power back in his hands. I believe because of you guys praying for me... I passed and I will continue to pray for you and the rest of the Nov. family until the last one has taking their exam. Barbara7809, just start thanking and praising him now for your results (pass/fail). Because he is the one who made you so he knows what is best for you and he will reward you with thanksgiving.

Barbara - how did you do? (oops, I just saw your new post!) I can so relate about the headache - not sure if mine is a migraine, but I've been getting one every afternoon - too much brain activity, huh?

I know the priority questions are very important, so I'm using Mosby's book about it called "Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment" it costs 22.95, but I'd be happy to pass it on after Friday. Dunno, the questions seem obvious and easy, but maybe I'm finally getting the hang of it.

There doesn't seem to be too many meds these days, but who would dare not being ready for the ones that require BPs, level monitoring, of may have serious side effects? I'm focusing on the ones that need special consideration - here's some links:

A lot of people say to stick with one book, but I really do like printing out charts and lists from the internet - one or another will strike you as the most clear and easiest to understand.

There are no test takers today, Thursday, Nov. 15, but FutureRN_Mandi and my test are tomorrow, the 16th. Everybody remember the pass rate for both the RN and PN tests is quite high, so be confident! Something tells me were on a roll here....

I was beginning to wonder why we hadnt heard from you yet. Im glad to see your post this morning. I wish you the best of luck.

Know that you WILL be an RN...just be patient for the results. As you said, it is in Gods hands now.

Hello November candidates,

My test is next week, the 23rd, and I am sick as a dog. Anyone get sick right before test time? I have a sore throat, ringing ears, sleepy eyes, runny nose, and just general fatigue. I am taking Zithromax but it does not seem to help, so it must be a virus. I feel bad because this is my last full study week and I am just too exhausted to pick up anything. I really need to be studying my butt off right now, but my mind is just not with it. Maybe I studied and worried myself sick. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any tips as to how to get well quickly and get back into the books?

oh my goodness!!!!! congratulations new rn

i almost cried when i saw that you passed the nclex-rn. god is awesome.. he truly is... we need to continue to thank god for his loving kindness and mercy that he has shown to us. we all prayed for each other and god is answering our prayers. wow.

i will keep keep praying for everyone this entire month. we can do it...
