Good luck on test 3 this week, sem 1!

Spill, maybe they gave y'all different overall directions, but we have yet to be told 'how' to do the modules either.

In fact, I tried, and it told me I had to pay....I sent K.J. @ ECC an e-mail stating my "unhappiness" about having to pay for a test to tell me I'm too stupid to make it in college. :chuckle

I've only received a "calm down...everything's going to be ok" response.........never another word.

So, maybe y'all don't have to either?

Test 3 bit. I made an 80. I really didn't study enough for the last two test, so for the 4th, 5th, and final, I really have to get my act together. My average is now 83.3. Barely a B?

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWE!

Thanks Fun---I'm thinking we just have to take the LASSI, although it does state to take the modules for anything you make less than a 70 on. I left a message for someone at the nursing ofc at NL, but no return phone call. I'm not going to sweat it---Thanks for the response!

Hello everyone, good luck to all of you in the nursing program, and to those who will begin in '07. I will start in the Spring at North Lake. I have read some of your posts and you all seem so sweet. I hope to see you there. Also, do any of you have any advice that would benefit new comers. What should I expect and what is the best way to prepare myself? I am excited and at the same time nervous. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and again, Good Luck All.

Spill,

Look very carefully on the sheet that came in our packet about LASSI. On the very bottom section of the page (right under the ........................ line) it says "HOW DO I GET TO THE EXERCISE MODULES". The info. in that section will get you where you need to be so you can do the ones you scored 70 or below on. Hope this helps. I only have to complete 1 and I am not all the way through it but it has not asked me to pay for anything (unless it does so at the end and I just haven't gotten that far yet).

Hi,

Welcome to our little group. Spill and myself will be starting Spring 07 at North Lake as well. As for tips, if you have not done so already, start at page 1 of this thread and read through the whole thread and take notes. It is FULL of tips and very useful info. ;)

Congrats on being accepted for NLC. I agree with Amy....you'll find lots of good advice. Also, feel free to ask any questions as we certainly will try to answer them for you, or direct you to the person who can. :)

Wow.....thanks for posting the links.

Specializes in Operating Room.

82 on test 3. It's still a C, but better than the original 80. I can't complain too much. I have an 84 average so far...at least that's a B. I sure hope I can maintain, but if not C=Continue!!!!!!! :p

The next one will cover Fluids and electrolytes and Nutrition....as well as some other chapters. Hopefully my Nutrition class I took will help out. I know I don't remember everything, but at least the material won't be new to me. :)

Hope everyone else is doing well. :kiss

Why hasn't El Centro posted any new info about the nursing program.......I don't get out much, so does anyone have the new "info" scanned that they could email me.....Thanks in advance =]
