Congrats to all of us that were accepted to the nursing program at either campus for Fall '06!!!!

I know your point...we were saying the same about a pinning ceremony.

I just got too busy with studying, etc to try to plan anything. ugggh...

Oh well....I'm ready to look forward to my next graduation, or pinning. hahaha

I think since you have a family history of nurses, then it means more to you to have a pinning ceremony. I don't have any nurses in my family, so I didn't even hear of 'pinning' until reading this thread somewhere along the way.

Two lecture tests within a week of each other! Argh!

We just had our first visit by a recruiter (Baylor) but they are only starting out at $21.00/hr. Parkland was starting at more than that when they talked to us in December...I've begun applying for some internships already, but I'm looking close to home.

I'm @ NL and out of the 43 or so in our class I hear that only 4 passed that I & I test. I'm about to have a nervous break down!!! Are you at EC?

We're at ECC, but we were at NLC last semester. Reding was teaching it (if you call it teaching). They must have really changed the test to be way harder. That's crazy that so few passed. Maybe there will be some extra points after review?

I went to EC. It was a joke. I can't tell you how bad it was in every way. The teachers did not teach us. All that we learned we did on our own. I'm amazed that we made it through. When many people failed a test, I heard they let everyone retake it. Our class never got to do that, but other sections did. Perhaps they will let ya'll retake the test. I hope so! Good luck to you and hang in there. We got through by forming a study group and all of us are still friends even since we graduated and went our separate ways!
