Congrats to all of us that were accepted to the nursing program at either campus for Fall '06!!!!

I'm going to be at the NLC campus! See you in June for orientation!

Also, congrats for making it to the next semester to all new 2nd - 4th semester NLC/ECC student nurses & congrats to the graduates! :balloons:

Last time I looked at nursing info. on El Centro's site it didn't look like it got updated too much. Your best bet would be visit the campus to get the latest info. or info. packet. You may be able to call them and have them send you info. in the mail as well.

**UPDATE** The "new" info. packet for the ADN RN program is posted on El Centro's site : http://www.elcentrocollege.edu/Programs/HealthLegalStudies/packets/pdf/ADN07web.pdf

Why hasn't El Centro posted any new info about the nursing program.......I don't get out much, so does anyone have the new "info" scanned that they could email me.....Thanks in advance =]

it looks like they got rid of the net, now it's the hesi for the entrance exam. that is what they require at most schools anyways.

The new packet hasn't changed too much. Just new names, the HESI test and now test results are good for 9 months instead of 6.

I found out officially today that I didn't make the initial cut off. She told me to wait to take the HESI until Jan because I'm close to the cut off and might still get in.

I was in your place last this time last year. Like I've written before, I am glad for it...now.

Not only did I apply with all of my support courses completed, I have all my classes for my BSN bridge out of the way too. (Knowledge from my Nutrition class has come in handy already....lol)

I'll be at orientation! It's November 14th. Uniform ordering is 11-1, the orientation is after that. I'm going to be helping with the uniform sales. I'll probably wear my SNA t-shirt...and maybe my nametag, if you're lucky. HAHAHA

Y'all need to join the SNA....we need more involvement! :)

Very cool! I need help NOW with my uniform. In my packet it just says uniform fitting / sales will be in the skills lab at Northlake but it doesn't give a building or room number. What building and room is the skills lab at Northlake? I am going to do a "trial run" this weekend to make sure I know where orientation, etc. is going to be. I haven't been to Northlake in a few semesters and the last time I was there they didn't even have a nursing program.
