Here's my bag that my mom bought me. I think she bought it at Kohl's though. :) My bag is navy blue and pink, even though it doesn't look like it in the pic.

Good luck at orientation!

I had a dr assigned to me through my health insurance, but I had never been to him. It was no problem though. When I called to schedule my appt, and I told them that it was for a school physical, they wanted me to come in on the special day assigned for physicals. I said that was fine, but I wanted to come in early for the blood work. When I came in the do the blood work, and they realized it was for a *college* physical, they went ahead and did it right then. So, you might want to make sure you tell them it is not a high school physical :)

Amy, like others have said, if you have insurance, you may have a PCP that you have to go to.

If you have a PPO, and can go to any Dr., then you just need to find one that accepts your insurance.

If you want, I'll PM you with a name of a Dr that I *HIGHLY* recommend. He is extremely close to North Lake College, if that is a reasonable area for you to drive to. If not, I'm sure one close by you would work as well. :)

I'm home from orientation!

I met :biere: Katie & Kendra,:biere: and actually know at least 2 others in 1st semester. I know 1 higher level that's part of the SNA. :lol2:

I got a TBA hospital.....not even a small, tiny clue as to where. :eek:

"IF" the clinical time doesn't change, then it will be 6:45-7:15 on Tuesdays.

Not a biggie though....I chose the TBA location, with the TBA instructor, over a couple of the other choices. God help me....that's all I have to say. :chuckle

I have to admit, I was a little scared about not knowing anyone...being that most of my AllNurses buddies started last semester. I think it's going to be ok though....I'm not sure who all is in my clinical though. :chuckle

Time to get back to concentrating on STATS & Nursing Conversions. :monkeydance: :specs:

What a great day it was. :) I even met my former clinical instructor, Mr. M. who went back teaching El Centro this semester. He was sooooooooo nice. He showed me some family pictures about their recent vacation and hugged me before leaving. Question: Can I adopt him as my father/grandfather/uncle? Ahhh...

I wish he taught second semester clinicals.

I heard Fields moved to a different semester. So....that choice is out.

Anyone know anything about Standfield? (...Although I didn't get his/her clinical.)
