Congrats to all of us that were accepted to the nursing program at either campus for Fall '06!!!!

I'm taking another look at the Nutrition class offered online through DCCCD. I am wondering if any of you ahve the textbook, telecourse guide, diet analysis software and CD's and would like to sell them.

I am willing to take older editions, used copies or copies with markings, as long as the telecourse guide does not have missing pages. I also need the 6-cd set and prefer the ones that have the video lessons, but will take those without.

Buying it in a bundle from one person would be great, but just let me know what you have.

My Nutrition Pathways CD/video Lessons state Windows 98 or higher.

I have the textbook, Understanding Nutrition, 10th edition.

I don't have the telecourse/study guide because I tore pages out in order to write & fax them to the instructor.

I have a PDA and I always brought mine to clinicals. I had my drug guide on it and it was much smaller than having to carry around the actual drug book.

I don't have a PDA. I usually had my small med-surg clinical handbook, drugbook and even the Ackley careplan book with me. I put everything in a bag and stored it in the break room during the day. It worked for me. I might buy a PDA if I had money. There are so many basic books and supplies that I still have to buy for nursing classes.

What kind do you have, and do you like it? How much memory? Does it get online?

I have a Dell Axim X51. It has bluetooth so yes I can get online. I believe it has 64 MB of memory. I like that I can put software on there but I have to buy memory cards to add more. I only have enough room on there for the drug guide but I want to add a medical dictionary to it but I have to buy a memory card for it. I also like that it has a removable and rechargeable battery which makes it easier than some other PDA's. I used it all of the time during the semester but right now I am just mostly using it to play games. lol
