Congrats to all of us that were accepted to the nursing program at either campus for Fall '06!!!!

I'm going to be at the NLC campus! See you in June for orientation!

Also, congrats for making it to the next semester to all new 2nd - 4th semester NLC/ECC student nurses & congrats to the graduates! :balloons:

Test was fine -- I got a 95 and a 92. After taking it, I think it is funny that I was worried about it. I'm so glad I'm about done with my application stuff!

I didn't see it, but I did ask :D I was told that they are thinking of adding the HPRS requirements for Fall 07, but will not decide until they evaluate this pilot program that is running right now. So, those of us in Spring 07 are fine :D But, for anyone thinking of applying in Fall 07, they might want to at least sign up for it just in case.

It will be nice to finally meet you. I plan on leaving my house around 11:30. Depending on traffic, I'll probably get there around 12. The uniform people won't be there until 12:30, and the orientation isn't until 1:30. Maybe I can get a front seat. :D

I called the bookstore today & asked about the name tags. They haven't even ordered them yet, and they won't order them until July. :crying2: Oh well....I've waited 15 years, I guess I can wait longer for my name tag. :chuckle

OoO -- Orientation! I cannot wait to hear all about it. As I get all these things out of the way, I'm starting to get really excited! All I have left to do is get my transcripts together and take my CPR class! Woohoo!

Katie....can you tell us what to expect at orientation? I am not sure what to expect at this point. Also, have you ever heard of anyone substituting one speech course for another? I have taken SPCH1321 and was hoping for a sub so I don't have to duplicate the material.

Orientation is very exciting. You will discuss your class schedule and requirements, sign up for a hospital list, order uniform, ask questions from others and they might give away books or other stuff, too. :roll

Sorry, I can't help with the speech class. They may be able to answer at the orientation.

Kendra, when I ordered mine, I got two different stories.

One guy said they would wait and order when the page was full, and the other said it didn't have to be full. (Explaining as if they were going to order it that day.

That's why I called. I told them, "Well, that's not what I was told, so I was getting a little concerned about not being called yet." Anywho...at least I know they're not setting up there, my name was magically erased :chuckle, or the page with my name on it was lost. :uhoh3:

ALL IS FINE! :D (At least, I hope.)

Is orientation the only time to be able to order a uniform?
