I'm going to be at the NLC campus! See you in June for orientation!
Also, congrats for making it to the next semester to all new 2nd - 4th semester NLC/ECC student nurses & congrats to the graduates! :balloons:
Good luck to everyone!
Did you do any book reading at all last semester, or only study from the slides and notes? (Did I already ask you that?)
I think the slides are great. I read the book at the end of the semester when it came to pedi diseases. If you compare the lecture slides to the textbook chapters you can see that the slides are giving you a pretty good summary of the chapters. But I have to tell you that I had one clinical groupmate who read every textbook chapter and she got A for lecture. (I made B.)

Thanks for this advice. I was flipping through the recommended reading chapters and yes, the slides are like an outline to them.
Did you do any of the study guides that pertained to the chapters to help you study?
Hey guys! It has been a crazy week in 1st semester....but knowing what to expect (words of wisdom from you guys) has helped me to get through. We already had 1 guy drop from our clinical section....he says he didn't realize the time investment it would take. I hope everything is going well for you guys!
