Good luck to everyone!
Too funny!
Katie....thanks for the advice! I will do that!!!
Also, yes, I would love to see a C/S!! So I guess I need to ask Mrs. E about seeing one???? :)
Second, I'll be in NBN, then PP4e. After that, I'm in 7E the rest of the time for M/S.
Katie, what did you do for your OB related community service???

Yes, you can tell Ms. E. and also the charge nurse on your L&D floor. When I was on our L&D floor I took the first C-section and my classmate had the first vag. delivery. Then we switched. :) By the way, if you want to be familiar with C-sections check out this video:

For community service I went to a local hospital with a classmate to observe and assist baby birth classes. We were there 2 days 4 hr each. It was pretty good, one day they had a tour on their L&D floor so we could go there and look around and ask questions, too.

Katie...THANK YOU FOR THAT LINK!!! That was SOOOOO awesome! :monkeydance:
Hey, you already watched it?
If you are interested and have time, go to the main page and then OB procedures. There will be some hysterectomies. I have seen a couple of them. Even if you don't want to see the whole surgery it worth watching the first 5-10 minutes of any laparoscopy procedures because they show the reproductive system very well. It gives a great perspective how organs and tissues connected 'down there'.

OH yeah....I went straight to it to watch it. haha There were a few on the links on the side that seemed to be interesting, too.
I can't watch anymore right now, but will squeeze them in when I can. You'd think I would know all about Innovar by now. I've read about that drug a million times. Nothing is sinking in very well.
I think I had too long of break.
Katie...I'm trying to do my med sheets for the NBN drugs that Ms. E wants us to have done before clinicals (HepB, Vit K, etc.).
Do you have these still? What did put for alcohol and Triple dye? (Classification/uses/nursing implications/side effects).
Is the info from the drug cards provided enough for the rest (besides alcohol and Triple Dye)?
Thanks!
