How many of us are out there?
I am 34, married with a 10 month old. I already have a bachelor degree and a master of public health. Hoping to be accepted into a nursing program this fall. Waiting for letters is soooo hard!
38, married, 2 kids (6 & 10), house, work PT, have been doing pre-reqs since 2010 and managed to maintain a 3.983 GPA. I even tutored Anatomy & Physiology for my professor for the last year. Applied to Sacramento State BSN, American River College ADN, and Sacramento City College ADN. Got my acceptance letter for Alternate status Fall 2014 and Guaranteed seat Spring 2015 at American River College. Being in college at an older age is WAY easier than it was when I was young. We're out there!! :)
36 here, I have already submitted my application and am waiting to hear back! I have 4 kiddos, one complex special needs. Topped off with an truck driver for a hubby that is gone or sleeping more often than not and it makes for an interesting lifestyle. I'm taking the summer off, it will probably be the last time I see the outside of my house for a good long while should I be accepted!
ME! I'm 27 with a bachelor's in biology. Half a degree in graduate-level microbiology, but turns out Ph.D. research is NOT for me so I left! Found my niche here and excited to start nursing school next month. I have an 8 yo, an 18 month old, and we want to have another one buuuut... better wait until after nursing school, honey! :)
