Hello all- I'm sure I'm not the only female with this concern. Does anyone have any suggestions for scrub tops that have round necks or necks that at least go up to your neck? For those of us who are larger chested, in order to get v neck to fit then it is too big, well, then everyone gets a free show when we bend over. In the winter I wear a t shirt underneath, but now it is waaay to hot to do that. I guess I'm asking if anyone knows of any suppliers who sell other than v necks. And to make things more complicated, were only allowed to wear white tops. Thanks for any suggestions- JR
You should know that cotton shirts are horrible at wicking moisture away from your body.
If you choose to go the way of putting on something underneath, I'd like to put in another recommendation for Under Armour. It's worth every penny, and I think there are cheaper knockoffs at Target. I wear their cold gear when I'm hiking & skiing in high alpine environment, and I know that a lot of cops wear them under their bulletproof vests on hot days.

To me cotton in not horrible at wicking moisture away from body, I was told that cotton was best recommended to keep you cool during the summer because it absorbs perspiration. Anyhow, here's a link you might find interesting and maybe give you a different aspect about cotton. At least, I find it to be true

Have a good day, :)

Jessica,
Indeed cotton is great for soaking up the perspiration, but the problem with it is that it tends to hold the sweat much longer than wicking & drying fabrics such as swimsuit material & the stuff UA is made out of.
As a warm-blooded hetero male my friends would have me taken out back and shot for encouraging this sort of thing. :rotfl: Even for the sake of professionalism!

I am not a nurse but we do have to wear scrubs uniform to school. I have encountered the same problem with the "free show" and a tatoo I have on my chest. Since it is too hot for long sleeves or just a regular shirt underneath, I found that wearing cotton muscle shirts (a.k.a wife beaters
) solves that problem. I usually buy the froot of the loom or hanes in the mens section. I love those because they are much higher and will cover more, very thin and breathable fabric, and because they are long. They will cover my belly.
