Hello all- I'm sure I'm not the only female with this concern. Does anyone have any suggestions for scrub tops that have round necks or necks that at least go up to your neck? For those of us who are larger chested, in order to get v neck to fit then it is too big, well, then everyone gets a free show when we bend over. In the winter I wear a t shirt underneath, but now it is waaay to hot to do that. I guess I'm asking if anyone knows of any suppliers who sell other than v necks. And to make things more complicated, were only allowed to wear white tops. Thanks for any suggestions- JR

The button front tops are usually not as bad as the v-neck unisex styles. Could you just maybe wear a sleeveless top underneath. That's what I do. I actually find it more confortable to wear a cotton top underneath because scrub tops don't seem to be very absorbant.

i either wear a tank top, or under armour summer gear...wicks away any sweat and keeps you feeling cool and covered

I've started sewing my own, Simplicity has a really east pattern. That V neck is too low too, but I sew an extra panel across the V of the same material.

I think that is so cool of you guys to be concerned about scrub tops and your professionalism instead of trying to look like a Barbie doll! I think that the sleeveless undershirts are cool. And I am proud of you for your discretness.

me too... I wear a tank top or a camisole in the summer, and a T or a long-sleeve shirt in the winter underneath. Keeps me covered, and even on a really hot summer day I really don't find the extra layer too hot.
oh, I just remembered, afunny story... I tried going without a "modesty layer" one day when I had first started and was so self conscious that I ended up pinning a baby hat under the V-neck of my scrub top to cover up! Lol!
scrub tops can be bad if your flat chested too...if you don't wear anything underneath, one can see straight down to the belly button!:stone

Beleive me its easier on you ladies. Im Sasquach ie very hairy so I have to wear a t-shirt as the v-nech scrub tops are about the only ones that are not feminine in there construction. About the only option for a cooler t-shirt for me is the old a-style T aka wife beater. As one of the other posters mentioned the Under Armour brand works very well as whicking away the heat.

I know that some people put little spaghetti strap tank tops on under their scrub tops. You could get nice colors to match whatever you are wearing. Most all the suppliers sell many styles of scrub tops. How about going to a big uniform store and trying some on. Maybe the clerk thre will have some other ideas for you.
