Do not attend a non-accredited school. It will come back to bite you in the future.
How about WGU? They offer their prelicensure BSN program in FL. Fully accredited, non-profit, solid program.

I agree never ever attend a non-accredited school. You will regret it. I know a couple of nurses who did and can't go further in their education. It's crippling.

Not only will you not be able to transfer any credits, you probably won't be able to get a license to practice, either. These "schools" are a disgrace, and it's disgraceful that FL takes in the money fir them and allows them to keep on ripping off students. Go to a real school, not an online/mail it in one. There are many, many fully accredited ones with good or excellent NCLEX pass rates that would be interested in you. As an example, there are some that would take your current bachelors and give you a directly-entry-to-practice with a masters in nursing. You sound motivated and bright enough— look into those. Mass General Institute of Health Professions is one. They might cost more, but you won't find yourself five years out with a huge loan and no work, either.
Thanks for your insight and recommendation! I will definitely look at the school you linked.

I really couldn't find the exact school because "South" is in a lot of school names. I am not being mean but there are so many Florida nursing schools whose students are not able to pass NCLEX and work. IN addition Florida has schools that import students from California for a few days of clinical (many of the LPN's will do fine but not all). Florida cannot say "no" to the underperforming schools. Their new stance is the schools must become accredited in a couple of years. And before then? Florida will have a lot of crappy schools trying to make the most of the 5 years.

Florida doesn't really care about educating it's students. Many, many charter and private schools here with no oversight, no minimum requirements, no state or federal testing. And of course the legislature allotted more money to these kinds of "schools" this year. It's a disgrace.
Thank you for your insight! I did not realize I would be eligible for a masters in nursing without a nursing degree.
Well, you'll have earned one, granted on the way to the MN. Good luck!
Look for MEPN programs. This is a masters in nursing as an entry level.
