No she did not remove an IV with no problem and then put the band-aid over a MOLE instead of the IV site! Yes, it was me :selfbonk:

At some hospitals, they don't require a second nurse to check insulin. That's the case at the hospital I'm at this semester.

She did not just.....wear KIDS size tank top and KIDS size shorts to class (26, overweight, not exactly the right type) because a) they were on sale at WalMart b) she didn't realize they were kids sizes c) she was already late and didn't want to change d) she bought them because she was out of clean clothes.

A classmate.....why don't schools do psych evals on their applicants?

chart his assessment in GREEN ink, only to copy what the am shift said (which had changed drastically since then) and then sign with my initials because he assumed it stood for 'student nurse' and did not use his name AT ALL!!

no he did not palpate (why?) a stab wound, clean it and apply a new steri-strip without GLOVES on, then left the room without washing his hands...

this was a DOC and I even asked him if he would like a pair of gloves and he said no!!!!!!!!!!!!!
