New fun thread. Please finish the sentence:
NO she/he did not:
Mine:
NO SHE DID NOT WALK INTO CLASS WITH a RED THONG CLEARLY SHOWING UNDER HER UNIFORM!:smackingf
No she did not:
go into a pts room and step into a huge pile of BM on the floor (pt got out of bed a fell) went up over her shoes and all up her white pants legs. She stunk so bad, but was not aloud to go home - she had to finish her med pass. What makes things worse is she got he pt back into bed alone with no assistance.
This thread is HILARIOUS!!!Oh no she didn't - grab a pack of Sweet n' Low when the nurse asked her to get some sugar for a patient having a hypoglycemic attack.
She is still in my clinical group and we often give her packs of Sweet n' Low whenever we all eat lunch together. :)
PRICELESS!
this one had me laughing out loud! I am soooo gonna use this as a prank in clinical... with real sugar in my pocket of course!
oh no she did NOT ... re-cap an insulin needle after sq injection and nearly stick herself! (pt was Hep C+)oh no she did not... prep a pt's toothbrush with fixadent instead of toothpaste by accident!!!
I forgot to mention that the pt. actually used the toothbrush and proceeded to spend the next 30 minutes picking fidadent glue out from between his teeth!
(ummm, yes this was me that did it :uhoh21:)
but I did NOT re-cap the needle...that was a floor LPN
Oh no she did not just say to the patient who mentioned her husband had passed away " That Sucks"
Oh no she did not ( same girl) tell a mom with a colicky newborn " Oh just throw in a few SCOOPS of rice cereal into his bottle- worked for me".
And, yes, she's still with us and about to graduate in 7 weeks.

Oh no she (CNA) didn't just describe to my morbidly obese pt that she had previously taken care of an extremely obese pt who couldn't wash under her own arms...but could take both hands (demonstrating the entire time) and lift up her stomach so said CNA could wash her "down there". Stating how lazy the obese pt was.
I felt so bad for that pt...I didn't know what to say.
