My work exp was from saudi arabia so even as one of tye first takers of the CBT exams when i got to the Processing stage Saudi Arabia had issued a mandate that they would no longer be completing forms given by other countries verifying the licensure status of nurses registered with them. Safe to say that was a huge problem. Combined with the fact that I was no longer in the country, I had to wait it out. Thankfully they are now back to completing those forms and with the assistance of some of my good friends, I finally got that done.

hi! i have read with your posts that you are ex-saudi. i'd like to ask if how long were you able to process the RAVF from Saudi Council? i saw on some posts that they were able to get it the same day and some in a week? and also did you send the documents straight to NMC from Saudi? Thanks! I'm glad that you are done with your decision letter. for my case, i have sent already my documents except my RAVF from SCFHS. Hopefully, i will get all of these done in a few days :)

I personally don't know of anyone who was rejected by NMC. I feel there's a hidden question within your question. What do you mean exactly by "rejected by NMC"? I'm not sure what to say, but I think NMC gives everyone a fair chance to complete the registration process unless something is significantly amiss regarding the candidate's eligibility.

Thanks kurokocchi... I was put on que que last July 7. Im working here in Middle east and im thinking to resign even without my DL yet cause we have a three months notice period. Im hoping that within those three months,my DL will arrive but im thinking what if i will be rejected by NMC. So i asked if there are any known cases that they decline an application... Thanks

I see. Several of my colleagues here have experience working in the Middle East and NMC didn't decline their application, so I don't see why your case would be an exception. However, a few of them still haven't cleared the identity check even though they already passed the OSCE. This seems to be unique only to those with experience in the ME, and one of my friends went to London several times already to clear the issue up with NMC directly.

From what I remember mine did take a week. Just remember that you would need to already have your COGS available before you can ask them to complete the verification form. It will have to be directly sent in to the NMC from KSA.

Tip: get your License Certification thats issued by the SCFHS (the grey silvery one in pure Arabic) translated and scanned into your NMC portal. NMC asks for it.

I wonder about this too. Isnt the identity check done in line with taking the OSCEs?

From what I remember mine did take a week. Just remember that you would need to already have your COGS available before you can ask them to complete the verification form. It will have to be directly sent in to the NMC from KSA.

thanks for the reply! how much did it cost you to accomplish the form plus the courier fee from SMSA? it is quite expensive to process these forms plus the hefty taxi fares in the kingdom. weeew. it is like double the amount that i spent with my requirements that i process in the Phil.

Courier was i think between 150 to 200 sar but honestly ive forgotten about the other fees.
