Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Yup, I'm under Royal London as well. My documents were just uploaded to my NMC portal last July 20. Did you resubmit your Barts forms? When did you receive your DL?
Received my DL about 2 weeks ago. I resubmitted some, specifically the Charachter ref since im not currently employed. But the other forms didnt need to be resubmitted. Good luck! Waiting on the DL is honestly the most frustrating part! Hopefully you get it done in one go!
Hey guys! Just got my DL ( took me over a year to get it which I liken to a trip to my personal hell and back). Anyone here have any idea how long it usually takes to get from getting your DL to the employer sorting out your COS?
Hi Puccafield.
Mind if I ask you why it took over a year for you to get your DL? What was the problem and what were the documents you had to resubmit? I was surprised as I saw your posts wayback May 2015 and thought you're in the UK now.
But congratulations! At long last.
Good luck adetzz!.. Some of my friends will also have an interview for KCH. How long did you wait from the interview to your visa processing?
I was interviewed first before I took all the exams and after that I submitted all my files to NMC, then I did the TB test and submitted my COS to the UK embassy for processing and biometrics :)
Wow! OK, that makes me feel better because I wasn't planning on going through an agency. Did the info you received from the agency help? and if so, do you mind sharing? I am just now qualified to register with the NMC. Took the IELTS UKVI already and hoping to take the CBT in August. Just one last question though...how long did it take you, realistically, from CBT to where you are now?
Hi Cottontail!
im sorry, I've been off here while on vacation and didn't see your reply.
I did my CBT June 2nd am still not on queue because I needed to resubmit my employer number two... Hopefully I'll be on queue by the end of next week. I've been hired on at Oxford University Hospital's NICU (lots of openings) and hopefully will have a certificate of sponsorship soon and can apply for my Visa. I'm so tired of this process and am ready to go!
Where in the US are you? I'm in Toronto Canada!

Hi Phoenixblaise!
No worries! I haven't been on recently either because I am chest deep in NMC publications and the Royal Marsden for my CBT exam coming shortly! I am very happy for you that you'll be on the queue soon! Also congrats on the job offer! Were you able to do that all on you own? I haven't really started looking for positions. I figure right after the CBT is a good enough time to start. When I am gathering all my documents for submission I would love to be able to use you as a resource!
I am from New York, NY! Hoping to make a jump for a little :)
