With regards this; as ive read from the NHS Employers guidance on COS issuances, All COS necessitated by the hospital has to be applied for by the 5th of each month (any later application will be taken in on the 5th of the following month). The applications are then processed (for approval or disapproval) on the 11th of each month. Now i believe that the earliest decision letter for us under Barts came in last July so the soonest that Barts could have applied for it is the 5th of this month. We may just have to buckle in and wait for news after the 11th since by that time we'll find out exactly if they applied for our COS or not.

Lol i was wondering the same thing. Got my offer around that time as well. DL was sent to me in the first week of July and Im still in the dark about the issuance of my COS

Why submissions were only documents that needed to be scanned in so that made it a bit quicker to resubmit my whole application. One you mail in your resubmissions you need to wait for NMC to indicate on your portal that each file has been scanned into their system. After then you can resubmit and reenter the assessment queue. It will pretty much take between 30 to 70 working days as published in their guidance.

Just that it seems that the NMC is aware that some candidates are not declaring active registration status in some countries and seem to have a way of back checking it. So its actually been a constant reminder from my agency that anyone with active registrations in other countries regardless of whether they have worked there or not must declare it in their NMC papers

From what I remember mine did take a week. Just remember that you would need to already have your COGS available before you can ask them to complete the verification form. It will have to be directly sent in to the NMC from KSA. Tip: get your License Certification thats issued by the SCFHS (the grey silvery one in pure Arabic) translated and scanned into your NMC portal. NMC asks for it.

You can def attach it as a supporting document when you send it in, but I would think the safest bet is telling your referees that you would be checking the papers before they mail it so you can make sure all the necessary fields have been keyed in and correspond with what you have on your portal.

It has been quite a journey for sure! But im hoping everything from this point will be a bit more straightforward. I was actually lucky to have gotten my police clearance before I left and they did consider that! So for that I am thankful. Where in the Middle East are you? Very true. Many agencies offer various packages. Some require that you pay your visa and your ticket but usually those are reimbursed.

My work exp was from saudi arabia so even as one of tye first takers of the CBT exams when i got to the Processing stage Saudi Arabia had issued a mandate that they would no longer be completing forms given by other countries verifying the licensure status of nurses registered with them. Safe to say that was a huge problem. Combined with the fact that I was no longer in the country, I had to wait it out. Thankfully they are now back to completing those forms and with the assistance of some of my good friends, I finally got that done.

Received my DL about 2 weeks ago. I resubmitted some, specifically the Charachter ref since im not currently employed. But the other forms didnt need to be resubmitted. Good luck! Waiting on the DL is honestly the most frustrating part! Hopefully you get it done in one go!
