NMC Test Online

Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

I wonder about this too. Isnt the identity check done in line with taking the OSCEs?

Yes, it does, and my friend have indeed going through the identity check on the same day as the OSCE. However there are some of them that are waiting for NMC to clear the checks and for them to proceed with the final registration and payment.

what do you mean they're cracking down on it. Could you elaborate please.

Hi guys! For the nclex passers, did you declared it in your NMC application?

Hi Rinkishikika, I passed the NCLEX. I am still waiting to take the CBT later this week....:nailbiting: However, Im not completely sure what you mean about "declaring it in the NMC application". Are we to prove that we passed the NCLEX on our NMC application?

She's just asking if the people who have passed their NCLEX declared so on their application.

Just that it seems that the NMC is aware that some candidates are not declaring active registration status in some countries and seem to have a way of back checking it.

So its actually been a constant reminder from my agency that anyone with active registrations in other countries regardless of whether they have worked there or not must declare it in their NMC papers

Hello.

Anyone in here who got a feedback from NMC asking to resubmit a form?

I was asked to resubmit the Employment Reference form.

They have received my form.

Do you know how long i would have to wait again for the feedback?

If they only asked for the Employment Reference form, does that mean everything else is okay?

Thank you in advance

Hello puccafied. I believe you had to resubmit documents as well. May i ask what documents you had to resubmit? How long did it take for you to receive your DL after the document was uploaded?

Thank you

Hello. I was just wondering how long it took from the day of your interview to the day you received your COS. I got a job offer in April 2016.

Why submissions were only documents that needed to be scanned in so that made it a bit quicker to resubmit my whole application. One you mail in your resubmissions you need to wait for NMC to indicate on your portal that each file has been scanned into their system. After then you can resubmit and reenter the assessment queue. It will pretty much take between 30 to 70 working days as published in their guidance.

Hello. I was just wondering how long it took from the day of your interview to the day you received your COS. I got a job offer in April 2016.

Lol i was wondering the same thing.

Got my offer around that time as well. DL was sent to me in the first week of July and Im still in the dark about the issuance of my COS

In case there are misconceptions about this, the issuance of CoS is not dependent on whether you have your decision letter or not (and the NMC in general). It's totally up to the hospital that is going to be employing you and how fast they can get these certificates from the home office to you or via your agency. IIRC, the MAC has placed (reluctantly, I might add) the nursing profession into the shortage occupation list for the next 3 years, with some limitations. To provide an excerpt from MAC's official publication regarding the list:

The Committee is concerned that retaining nurses on the list could lead to nurses taking a significant amount of the certificates of sponsorship available under the Tier 2 limit, to the

detriment of other employers who also require skilled non-EEA workers. The Government

has committed to an overall cap of 20,700 per year.

The MAC therefore suggests a maximum annual cap of 5,000 places for nurses under Tier

2, with the limit reducing gradually over the next three years.

The MAC also suggests an employer wishing to recruit a non-EEA nurse should be required

to complete a resident labour market test - to ease concerns that employers are recruiting

from outside the EEA to undercut the pay of UK nurses.

Hi Kurokocchi! I sent you a PM if you don't mind me asking some bits. Thank you x
