Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Anyone here taking the OSCE this September? :D

Specializes in Neurospine MS/ CMSRN.

anyone recently hired under omanfil for kings college? give me a pm pls... i have a question.

Anyone here from Bournemouth through IPAMS/HCL Permanent?

Hi! Can you please contact me at [email protected]. :)

Just that it seems that the NMC is aware that some candidates are not declaring active registration status in some countries and seem to have a way of back checking it.

So its actually been a constant reminder from my agency that anyone with active registrations in other countries regardless of whether they have worked there or not must declare it in their NMC papers

NMC is highly inconsistent on this one. I've had at least a couple of friends who had active registrations (and even worked!!) in other countries who chose not to include it in their applications but are now UKRNs and just received their pins.

Hello.

Anyone in here who got a feedback from NMC asking to resubmit a form?

I was asked to resubmit the Employment Reference form.

They have received my form.

Do you know how long i would have to wait again for the feedback?

If they only asked for the Employment Reference form, does that mean everything else is okay?

Thank you in advance

What was the reason why you were asked to resubmit the Employment Reference Form?

I believe a lot of posters here in the past also had to resubmit a few documents but received their DLs shortly. Maybe, it would help to call NMC and follow up on your application. I highly disagree that just because you were asked to resubmit some documents, you have to go through the queue again.

Hi,

I'm kinda new here. Im about to take my CBT next week.I somehow finished reading the Royal Marsden and is confuse with the other review materials. Anyone here who has taken it and pass? I'd like to know if the NMC blueprint along with its vague and most often broken links were really helpful with the review and the questions in the test?:shy:

I think you'll find a lot of people here have taken and passed the CBT already. If you can decode NMC's blueprint then go ahead, but if not then don't bother. The Royal Marsden manual is a good place to start and it also has a copy of the NMC code in one of its appendix, something that you should familiarize yourself with if you hope to pass the test. I also found the adult safeguarding module from the SCIE website quite useful.

hi! Thanks for the info. Btw. Im kinda curious for those who are already in the UK right now studying for the OSCE, did your hospital employer provided you with free book copies of the Royal Marsden or its something that you need to buy there since sometimes the pdf version wont suffice when reviewing. I find it somehow different reviewing from an actual book than reading it from a screen.

Anyone here who is for Barts?

Hello! I'm also for Barts under ASC. What hospital will you be in?

Do you happen to know for which department/area you are to be assigned? I am for Barts but not under ASC or any agency. I applied independently online and for direct hiring.

I am specifically for Barts Heart Centre under Cardiovascular CAG. When did you have your interview and got the job offer?

I was interviewed first week of April this year for Med-Surg Ward for Royal London, though we were informed that the ward designation may change depending on what the hospital needs at the time of deployment.

When were you interviewed and have they issued your COS yet?
