Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
I was told by NMC to send the blank forms because they need the bar codes for me to get through assessment. What a relief!!!
what was the doc that they were asking for the bar code? what had happened to the bar codes from the forms that were submitted? i forgot to ask them what happened to my doc when i called.. lol..
Hello @ johnnnius, RN ! Yey! Finally found someone in this thread who had the same problem since I'm also currently employed. I just have some few questions. What have you indicated in the end date and when did you actually shipped all your documents? I'd just like to clarify, did you have all the same info provided in your online application? When did you hit the submit button? Sorry if i have too many questions. I was really really skeptical about this.
I hope you can share me your experience. Thanks!

I have sent all forms (Reference 1 and 2, Declaration of Good Health, Registration Verification Forms etc). I'm from the old scheme and asked them to transfer some of my documents to new scheme.
Hi jocasanova! I indicated the date when I sent my assessment fee as my employment end date (which was earlier suggested in this thread) as I am still employed that time, actually up to this date lol. I sent my payment 6th of June, shipped all of my docs 18th of the same month. Yep, the info you provided on the documentary reqts MUST be the same with the filled up online requirements so as to avoid conflicts. And yep, you could hit the submit button anytime, whether before, during or after your mailing of docs to them.
Anyway don't mention it. I know the struggle you are currently experiencing at this stage of the process (stressful one indeed) because I have been there and done that. Absolutely no worries :)

What at relief! thank you so much @johnnnius, RN =) Indeed, you saved me from paranoia. hahahaha. By the way, congratulations on the success of your application. I know that I'll get to where you are soon. Thanks to people like you and all the people in this thread who shares information. God bless us all!
I'm afraid you do need to get an NBI clearance. Filipino nurses who have worked in other countries have been obligated to do the same, so I think the opposite holds true, too.
As for the reference forms, I don't think getting 1 from each country you've worked as a nurse in is necessary. It would be a hassle, otherwise, if you've worked in at least 2 countries. One simply has to be from your superior (who should be a nurse) whom you've worked under for 6 months, and the other for 12 months minimum. If your current seniors/superiors fit those criteria, then they may fill out the reference forms for you.
hi guys..
i am planning to try working in UK and ive read the NMC handbook yet im quite confuse with the process. I am working abroad so i can't rely on agencies in the Phlippines to process all my papers, i have to do it by myself. i just want to ask these questions:
1. step one is filling up the online application right? do i need to submit all the required papers on step one or this is just simple online application form that i need to fill up?
2. i have a potential company in UK and they asked me to atleast complete the stage one of NMC application, what do they mean by stage one?
3. what is CBT?

So long as that doctor isn't an anesthesiologist then your form should be fine.
