Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Hi! Just want to share that I got my decision letter last July 7 and it was extra special since it was also my birthday. Anyway, It took exactly 10 weeks for me to receive the DL and thank God, I didn't encounter any problem of missing documents or improper filling up of forms during the waiting time. Just be patient guys, I am sure that you'll also get yours soon!By the way, I am from CTN-IPAMS and from what I heard, there are only 4 applicants who just got their DL as of this moment. The earliest possible date of deployment according to the agent is September.
Hi jaysfordays! When in the application did you know which hospital were you going to? After the submission of documents/NMC portal? :)
Hello everyone! All my documents have just been indicated as "received" on my NMC account today. Does this mean that my assessment stage already started? Will I also see a "received" note beside the documents I uploaded like the passport, police clearance, etc.?
Hi guys! Also in the same stage. It's just my health declaration that I'm waiting for to make a change. The rest has "document has been received" marked next to it. I'm so excited! From this stage, how long did assessment queue usually last? Thanks and Godspeed everyone in this forum. Hopefully we could meet when we get to the UK

NMC told me to wait for 10 weeks but it can take longer than that.
Hello everyone!
I have spent the whole day thinking about my NMC application. I have received the very last requirement yesterday which is my Police Clearance from Egypt (which I had to travel to London and pick it up), so I have scanned the said document and clicked "submit" to my NMC online application. Prior to that I also have checked that most of my forms has "this document has been received" remark BUT checking now and I have done so many times!! the remark "this document has been received" is gone!! Could this be a bug?
And also can someone please clarify this NMC statement on my letter? I, too, had to transfer my documents from old to new rules:
We may be able to transfer previously submitted documents to the new process for you following the successful completion of part one of the competency test on the condition that these documents are dated within nine months at the point of request.
Request of transferring documents? Or is it dates written on my forms?
This NMC registration has been agonizingly long and painful and very expensive.
Hey everyone - question about the forms to send in. The ones to do with my registration: Since graduating nursing school, I have worked in 4 different provinces in Canada (each one has its own registration body). Does that mean I have to get my registration verification forms done from EVERY province I have ever worked in??!?! I am only active and practicing in ONE right now (and its only been this ONE province for the past 2-3 years), the other provinces I am no longer registered in, but its just that i HAVE BEEN registered there in the past. What do we think on this one?

Yes, it should start by that time so long as you've submitted the online form as well. Didn't NMC send you an email regarding that?
The scanned documents are received automatically.
Hi lg_loveliegrace, RNAbout the IELTS requirement, we were told in a certain agency that come November, the UK would be specifically requiring the UKVI-type of IELTS and in the event that an applicant is still not deployed by that time (or no visa yet) , the applicant would have to retake the UKVI for the purpose of visa processing. The target score though is 4.0 and above only since it's just for the visa. I just don't know how true it is.
P.S.
This is not the same agency that told me about the false and mind-blowing CBT result expiration period of 6 months
My IELTS is due on November as well but thank God I have a permanent residency in the UK and now processing my citizenship. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about taking the IELTS again :)

Hi guys!
Just wanna thank everyone for all the tips.
I recently passes my Cbt exam and the topics I read here are dead on.
For the future takers, just focus on controlled drugs, leadership and management, revalidation, other topics are pretty basic. Treat every question as a critical question, and just pray.
The problem I have now is I cant log in to my nmc account, to others who encountered the same thing, is our username the same as the one we used for the pearson vue account? I want to start to process my requirements as soon as I can, but it's frustrating because I cant log in. Thanks and god bless :)
