Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Hello Everyone! I have been following this thread for a while and it has been really informative and helpful. I'm an applicant in KCH via Omanfil and just passed my CBT last month. Earlier this day, I paid the 140GBP for the assessment fee. I have downloaded these 6 forms:
1. Overseas Registration: Form to Accompany Transcript of Training
2. Registration Training Areas Reference Form
3. Overseas Registration: Registration Authority Verification
4. Overseas Registration: Reference Form for Employer 1
5. Overseas Registration: Reference Form for Employer 2
6. Overseas Registration: Supporting Declaration of Good Health
I sent the first one to the institution where I graduated. They will send it back to me for me to personally mail the forms to NMC.
I went to PRC for number 3 and they ask me to come back next week and prepare about 2,300php for the courier cost. They will be the one to send the NMC forms.
I asked my head nurse and nursing supervisor to fill-up the referral forms.
I will ask a resident physician to fill-up the last one.
Hopefully, I will be able to accomplish these forms by the end of next week. My plan is to let PRC send their forms separately and ask Omafil to sent no. 1, 4, 5 and 6 altogether. Anyway, I only asked for my school to have a photocopy of my TOR labeled as 'certified true copy.' Is that alright? I preferred the xerox because it is already available. Requesting for an original will take me two weeks and I can not wait that much for the TOR since November is the due date for my IELTS.
Am I on the right track or am I missing something?? Thanks for all your help!! Oh, also, for those who are under KCH as well, do you have any idea whether KCH will sponsor the OSCE? And once you depart for UK, will you immediately undergo the OSCE or will we be exposed first in the UK healtcare setting, say, for about 3 months before taking the OSCE? THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU ALL!!

Hello,
Do you have any missing training in some clinical areas? Because as far as I know, you only have to accomplish that form if you do. Regarding the expiration of your IELTs, I think that as long as you've submitted your application before it's due then it would be ok. I asked the NMC before with regard to that and they've informed me that if my IELTS expires on 3rd of November for example and I have submitted my application 2nd of November then it would still be fine. Good luck!
Hi lg_loveliegrace, RN
Do you mean to say that only applicants deemed to be lacking clinical hours are mandated to accomplish that form? If so, how will the NMC know that if they don't have any basis yet? I apologize for asking too much as I really want to clarify that because obtaining documents from our university is quite a hassle, and it would really be a relief if I will not be doing any trips to my school for that.
About the IELTS requirement, we were told in a certain agency that come November, the UK would be specifically requiring the UKVI-type of IELTS and in the event that an applicant is still not deployed by that time (or no visa yet) , the applicant would have to retake the UKVI for the purpose of visa processing. The target score though is 4.0 and above only since it's just for the visa. I just don't know how true it is.
P.S.
This is not the same agency that told me about the false and mind-blowing CBT result expiration period of 6 months
Its true that you just need to get a 4.0 in all bands in the UKVI IELTS for the visa purposes said by my employer when i asked the person about the UKVI. what do you guys mean by lacking clinical hours? Is it in the school part i mean the RLE hours?
Regarding that agency with no knowledge about CBT expiration, they called me and i was surprised after asking some questions to the agent, he/she has no idea what he/she is talking about and heard him/her asking her superior regarding my questions LOL.

Thank you for the reference. So it appears that it is our call whether to indicate whether we'll consider our program to be complete and not lacking in clinical hours. Maybe this is applicable to those applicants from countries with separate Psychiatric or OB classes. Most of what I've read in the entirety of this thread indicated that they just disregarded that. Is that what you did as well?

I am sure we got the information from the same person =)
Kinda skeptic though. Might as well inquire directly to NMC or UKVI office.
