I got an email yesterday from NYP/Columbia that I am selected as a "top candidate" and can skip the meet and greet and go to an interview with Nurse Leaders in June. Has anyone else received this now or in the past and could provide advice? I know the process is long being hired at such a premier hospital. Just wondering if anyone could give me some insight.
Thank you!
Does anyone have any advice for people who have to come out-of-state to attend this event? Did you feel it was worth it in the end? Did you come from out-of-state for the meet and greet and then also have to come back again for separate interviews?
Any advice would be extremely helpful! I was invited but I'm trying to decide if it will be worth the really expensive plane ticket cost!
Hi ARNBSN, RN I have 2 years of ambulatory care experience. However, the clinic I work for is inside a hospital so I sometimes rotate to other floors or I transfer patients who become Ill in the clinic to the floors. When I applied to NYP I applied to a regular RN position.
Just an update, I passed the pharm test!! 96! :). The only advise I can give is to study the Study Guide and to do questions, questions and more questions. The critical thinking exam was "okay" I didn't do good in the dysrhythmia exam :/. Overall I think the Nclex was easier lol Good Luck!
