New York Presbyterian/Columbia (NYP Email) New Grad

Published

I got an email yesterday from NYP/Columbia that I am selected as a "top candidate" and can skip the meet and greet and go to an interview with Nurse Leaders in June. Has anyone else received this now or in the past and could provide advice? I know the process is long being hired at such a premier hospital. Just wondering if anyone could give me some insight.

Thank you!

You'll have about 1 month to take the exam and it is very straight forward. I wouldn't stress! If you need the pharm study guide you can PM me :)

Thanks so much, if you have a chance to send a study giude to [email protected]. thanks.will keep me busy while waiting for"future consideration".thanks

I was notified today that I am invited to the Meet and Greet event in April! Good luck to everyone else who applied!

Congrats to everyone that has received an email! I still have not :( Hopefully they are sending out emails in waves.

To those who have been invited to the April Meet and Greet event -- have you been able to RVSP via the link that was sent in the email? I have not been able to access it for some reason.

Congrats to everyone that has received an email! I still have not :( Hopefully they are sending out emails in waves.

Looks like they are, I just received an email. Good luck!

Has anyone else heard back, good or bad??? I'm still waiting and getting anxious now. :nailbiting:

still haven't heard anything :(

Does anyone have any advice for people who have to come out-of-state to attend this event? Did you feel it was worth it in the end? Did you come from out-of-state for the meet and greet and then also have to come back again for separate interviews?

Any advice would be extremely helpful! I was invited but I'm trying to decide if it will be worth the really expensive plane ticket cost!

Still nothing on my side.

Hi ARNBSN, RN I have 2 years of ambulatory care experience. However, the clinic I work for is inside a hospital so I sometimes rotate to other floors or I transfer patients who become Ill in the clinic to the floors. When I applied to NYP I applied to a regular RN position.

Just an update, I passed the pharm test!! :D 96! :). The only advise I can give is to study the Study Guide and to do questions, questions and more questions. The critical thinking exam was "okay" I didn't do good in the dysrhythmia exam :/. Overall I think the Nclex was easier lol Good Luck!
