Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!
hi! i'm planning to apply for nclex exam in NM state, may i know what's the first thing to do because i don't have any idea, i'll appreciate you guys to reply, thanks a lot!
Hi and welcome to the site
Please take the time to read this forum especially the sticky on Primer to working in the USA all information you can find either on this site or on the board of nursing (BON) for the state you want to apply to and also on retrogression as you will be affected by it. Also you are not applying for NCLEX but licensure to be a RN in the US but be aware now there is no guarantee that meeting requirements will get you into the US.
I think It would be much better if you send the updated form plus the whole amount of 40.25. Then email them to resend back your backdraft/check for faster processing result. In that way, you can retrieve your money back without too much delay on your application process.
I also sent them my application last october 8 with the $31 amount for DPS. Now my application form and payments was sent back to me including a page that says that "fees changed. $9.25 additional needed." I don't know if it is allowed for me to make another dollar demand draft for the additional $9.25. May I just combine them with the returned $31 payment for a sum of $40.25 and resent it to them? I hope someone will help me on this. BTW, I already sent my query to the NM BON website, I hope they answer asap.

definitely you can do that as long as the total amount is 40.25. you are just actually buying dollars on that process. Don't delay your documents as plenty of applicants are on route to that state.
Hello there!!To all of us awaiting status from NM bon, I have called their office today and a voice message was played saying that our status would be available online starting on or before Nov. 16, 2007.
If you want complete info, log on to their website and click the Licensing form, Application info and then the requirements for non-US grad.
well, it states there agencies, but I think it applies to individuals as well.
hope this helps..........

your welcome. All of us on here hate to see nurses taken advantage of with agencies. They don't pass information on or tell you the wrong information. Shame on them
